Well this should be interesting.

Met in person? Or does meeting on the internet count?

Edit: Being that I have never met another (serious) predator hunter in person, I will go with the internet angle.

Im very hurt that I havent been nominated yet.

However, I find it a tough vote. Ive had the privledge of meeting a few of these guys and really liked them. Gerry Blair is great. So is Rich Higgins. Elbee, you rank right up there in my book, I had a lot of fun with you. Vic Carlson is always fun to hang with. I got a feeling if we ever get a chance to hang out, Cal Taylor will no doubt be on top of the list. Tough question, Ill have to dwell on it a bit.

I'm not surprised that TA was nominated on the third ballot. I thought about stating "only serious nominations, please" but I figured we are mostly all adults here, and that's unneeded. There I go thinking again! [Roll Eyes]

Les Johnson has to be up there somewhere? Would somebody care to nominate Les?

Sorry Leonard, couldn't resist. No celebrities come to Alaska, so I had to just throw out a vote based on internet legends.

I'll nominate Les, and vote form him, too. I know gerry and Gerald and Rich and, for the record, everyone else I care to meet, and for the most part, they're all a great group of guys. But, Les stands out. He signed on for our NE KS hunt two years ago and he and his brother Jeff came to check in despite not having enough kills to even make a showing. It made a lot of those guys at that hunt learn a new respect for les for him to show up and get beat publicly, and to stick around and congratulate those who won and visit with everyone. He's a very humble man without so much as a hint of arrogance and he wears that well.

I would have nominated Q, but he's an opinionated prick like me, most times. He don't like nobody. [Wink]

In my mind, and let's not go there some days, my celebrity picks for all of the above qualities that I've had the pleasure of meeting are:

Leonard, Ronnie Robison, Uncle Jay, Gerald Stewart, Rich Higgins, Vic, Tim and Brent Rueb.

Would love to meet Les some day, so can I vote him in on the honor system Leonard? [Wink]

Thanks Fred.

I know one fella that a few years back would have made the list. That is before he became a self centered, all knowing, left wing radical, freeloading, dipshit prick.

I wont say anymore and see if yall can figger it out.

This isn't progressing quite the way I thought, so the best thing to do is shut it down. I had no idea where it would lead or the hostility it would generate. Sorry, folks. Let's talk a bout something else, okay?
