I just had two Acorn goons show up at my door. One just about didnt leave. I have an old house I use for storage and as I was talking to one, I see the other walking across my yard and told him to get the fuck out.

Anyway, I dont know how much, if any, of this Im going to fill out. I was first inclined to throw the damn thing away. Then, I thought I would just write in the number and send it back, not answering all the questions. Then I read the law and this is what I came up with.

TITLE 13 > CHAPTER 7 > SUBCHAPTER II > § 221
Prev | Next § 221. Refusal or neglect to answer questions; false answers
How Current is This? (a) Whoever, being over eighteen years of age, refuses or willfully neglects, when requested by the Secretary, or by any other authorized officer or employee of the Department of Commerce or bureau or agency thereof acting under the instructions of the Secretary or authorized officer, to answer, to the best of his knowledge, any of the questions on any schedule submitted to him in connection with any census or survey provided for by subchapters I, II, IV, and V of chapter 5 of this title, applying to himself or to the family to which he belongs or is related, or to the farm or farms of which he or his family is the occupant, shall be fined not more than $100.
(b) Whoever, when answering questions described in subsection (a) of this section, and under the conditions or circumstances described in such subsection, willfully gives any answer that is false, shall be fined not more than $500.
(c) Notwithstanding any other provision of this title, no person shall be compelled to disclose information relative to his religious beliefs or to membership in a religious body.

For a $100 fine, I do believe Ill toss this in the trash. Im not tellin the fuckin bastard in charge of this country anything. I dont trust what he might do with the info.

What the fuck do they need it for? Hell, they have my, and my families, birth records, tax records, real estate records, and no tellin what else. They cant figger out how many people live here? Bullshit.

The census bureau sent ACORN out to do the census? What the hell?

Not trying to start an argument, but here is info given at www.factcheck.org concerning the census:

ACORN has indeed signed on to partner with the Census Bureau in connection with the 2010 census, along with about 30,000 other groups at the time of this writing. Others under "A" include, for example, the American Statistical Association, the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, Avon Products Inc. and 57 additional organizations and corporations. The Census Bureau’s Web site includes an open invitation to sign on, and the agency says it expects to have more than 100,000 partners by the time the process is over. That may even be an underestimate: In 2000, it signed up 140,000 partners

This doesn't appear to me that Acorn is in charge of the census.

The one that came on the porch had a jacket on. Im pretty sure the emblem on his shirt was Acorn. His ID was clipped on the jacket. The other one didnt come to the door, he went back to the car when I yelled at him cuttin across my yard.

Those boys are gonna have to get smarter if they are going to survive their jobs. There are some farmers around here that wouldnt have yelled at him.

The motivation apparently, is to get more undocumented and more from the projects that normally don't bother with anything that they get in the mail unless it keeps their checks coming. This, in turn means they can create more Congressional Districts which means more Democrats on Barry's side and who will vote for more entitlement programs for all those poor disadvantaged minorities. They also need to know where Andy is, so he can pay for all this shit.

Good hunting. LB

Dusty;
The link didn't work. [Confused]

I think that when they knock on the door, I'm just going to ask them how many people they see in front of them. If they correctly say 'one' I can tell them 'Good, that shows you're sober & your work here is done. Good-by.

As far as I know, that's all of the information we're required to give.

I can see this census thing becoming like the 'Voluntary Compliance' with the I.R.S. [Mad]

.................and every year they will want (demand) more & more detailed information. [Eek!]

Line #43; How many firearms are in your household?

Line 43(A); How many of these firearms are unregistered?

Edited for speling

LB, how about a poll. How many are going to follow the constitution and just write in the number and how many are going to be good little subjects and fill out the census.

Can we do that?

That's just FINE, Victor! So, now we spend all those tax dollars driving out to the boondocks just to count your ass! And, if you keep making samwiches for the migrants, you will need all those extra pages.

I got mine today, indecision. Do I shred it, or pencil in a one and skip the rest of the questions?

Good hunting. LB

DON’T pencil in a 1! Some ACORN nut will change it so California will gain another seat. Please use ink and write it out…ONE so it can not be changed to 11.

Getting serious now, I’m considering just putting 3 in the box and enclosing a copy of The Constitution with the pertinent points highlighted. If nothing else, in there data collecting they will find that some of us are reading it, and going to start holding them to it.

On one of the radio talk shows the other day someone (I don't remember who) said that he answered question 9 (what race?) as American. After all, if you are a citizen of the US you are American.

I don't like that I'm supposed to give them my phone number or name, address and birth date. I'd rather do this annonomously. How about my SS number? What if I decided to list my dogs as residents? I know, #1 asks number of people but, my dogs are, quire often, better company than some humans.
