Loco, it would probably be very entertaining if we all posted pic's of ourselves from around 1973. I've even got a couple with coyotes in them that would be good for a laugh. My hair was about as long as you are tall in that photo above.

Tim, we must be about the same age.
Who knows what Vic is shooting? Is that a Ruger Blackhawk 44 mag? That would be my wild assed guess.

Just to change the subject for a question, because of the photo with the coon.
I got a real good clear print of the front foot this morning. It's about 1½" wide. What does this tell me about size? I previously had a good print of a back foot, which was how I ID'd the critter, but this is the first clear front paw print. He went for some strawberry cream cheese that I found in the 'fridge, that I didn't know I had? Must have been a house guest, because I do not like flavored cream cheese. Anyway, he absconded with the whole cup, and I buried it a foot deep. The rear print, as I recall was probably four inches long, can't guess the width, it was several months back?
Tim, is that coon alive? Can you tame a wild racoon? Tonight, porkchops! Yum!
Good hunting. LB

The picture of Vic looks like it belongs in the movie "Butch Casidy and the Sundance kid" or the Billie Jack movie filmed here in Prescott. I think the six shooter is a .357 or .44 mag.
What was I doing in 1973 ? Spending time in the military working on F-4C Phantoms "fighter jets" with nukes hanging on them, conventional weapons at other times. Might find a picture sometime not sure. I mostly took pictures on slides back then.

Yeah, that's him; Billy Jack. Exactly! I could believe Ruger 357, but not 44 Mag? I have a photo of me in 1971 somewhere, been seen before, but I can't seem to locate it? Identical sideburns, too!
Good hunting. LB
In the meantime, check this out. See the speakers? Killed a lot of coyotes out of this rig, I paid $1830 for it, brand new, in 1969.

Yeah! This is a really fun thread thread. Cool idea Joe! Where is your hippie dead coyote picture?
I like Dusty's idea. If you can't post a picture, tell us where you were in the 1970's.
If you're 35 yrs. old or younger post a picture of you when you were a kid. Those pictures are really fun to look at! I always enjoy the old club pictures too. I've gone to look at them several times. Just noticed, Vic is a South Paw! And I've even seen him shoot a rifle and never noticed - go figure!?!? "Whut?"
I figured it would be good for a few laughs.
Have to see if I can find a pic from the '80s, when I let it grow REALLY long...

The revolver in that photo was a Ruger Blackhawk, chambered in .45 colt, the rounds loaded meticulously on my kitchen table with a Lee hand loader, you know the one you used a hammer on. The photo is circa 1973, on a javelina hunt with my brother and 20gauge.
