Leonard; People in Wyoming don't generally 'shout'. That would involve the loss of warmed air, a thing of great value. The only exception being when someone or thing attempts to drive a Wy-O-Me-ite from behind whatever windbreak they're huddled behind.

(Seriously, Tim has a lot of beautiful country to explore.)

Loco; Check the $$$$. That guy tried to pay me 30 YEN per each.

Is Tim a resident of the Cowboy state yet? I hadn't heard.

Nobody has? But, we know this, he filed a flight plan toward Rollins two weeks ago, so wth the strong headwinds and driving a Land Rover, he should be arriving any day now?

Good hunting. LB

PS, why do they call it the cowboy state? Az has four or five times as many cowboys, not to mention Texas?

Not really Leonard, they just have 5 times as many people that wear the hat. When it comes to "real" cowboys Wyoming is probably right up there with any of them. Our University of Wyoming teams are the Cowboys also and they still have the cowboy and bucking horse on our license plates. So for whatever reasons its still known as the cowboy state. I don't understand why they still call California the land of fruits and nuts when Texas and Arizona have.........

Well, nevermind, I guess California still wins that one! [Big Grin]

Please tell me Tim did not head out across the desert in a Land Rover. Based on personal experience I would not head out across IL. in one.....

Yes he made it there and the Land Rover did good. I just came back from a week long visit. Damn it is cold there. Our dogs aren't gonna like it at all. He'll fly back home on Thanksgiving Day to help load up the UHaul and we'll drive it back over the weekend. I don't have a clue as to why he can't post.

Ms. Joyce;
Since the market for coyote fur is way down this year, maybe you should consider putting Tim to work in his spare time getting some fur to make you a fur coat. And a bedspread. Coyote fur curtains would be cool too, but that's probably a guy point of view.

Oops, sore point. I believe Tim has been promising something made from fur for quite some time.

Joyce, it's not that he cannot post. It is that his email, both this one: tbehle@vtc.net and the one associated with his membership, (need to look it up and get back to you)

But Chris Kennedy has sent email and had it returned, both places. (I think?)

Good hunting. LB

Awww guys.... He made me a raccoon fur coat a while back ago and it is beautiful. I'm sure I'll be able to put it to good use now. But a Beaver skin bedspread would be a welcomed site. He's working 10 hours, 5 days a week. Leaving only the weekends with me, which I'm not willing to give up for any kind of fur.

Sorry for the delay, but the last few times I've tried to post, this POS laptop crashed.

I made it here ok, and Like Joyce said, they have me working five tens, ( they keep offering me 6/10s but I've not been able to give up my Saturdays. )

There's a lot of beautiful country here around Rawlins to explore. I've never seen so many Golden Eagles and Antelope in my life.

It's supposed to be real pretty in the summer too, which I'm told is during the last week of July here.

Both of those emails you listed go to my home account in AZ. The only one I can see here is tim.behle@live.net but I only check it every couple of days, as this POS laptop crashes so frequently.

I don't know why they call it the Cowboy State either. I've not seen many cows, or horses or anything else cowboy related. An Antelope showing his butt to the Howling wind in a blizzard, would be a more fitting emblem.

Turns out my new Foreman is a coyote hunter, placed second in the Nationals a couple of years ago, I think. Our service area covers over 10,000 square miles, so we get to talk about coyotes and guns while driving between jobs.

Hey Tim,

I was thinking how cool it would be to meet up with you and Cal. We will not be moving up to Dubois for the winter as hoped. We were gonna list our house and go live up there until the house sold. However, Dummy Danny lost his driver's license for too many speeding tickets. Durned lead foot! I was really hoping to hunt some of that territory up there. Truth be told, I was hoping to call in a wolf (I don't think they're shootable just yet) just to see one. I was also almighty spookified of accidentally calling in a grizzly. Both of them up in that country! I've never, "skinned a Griz'!"

P.S. Hello Joyce!!! Guess what, my chick is gonna have another critter - #6! Durn fertile woman! Every time I so much as wink at her, she gets pregnant! [Smile]

Another one?!?!?! You're lucky she doesn't take a knife to that thing while you sleep!!!

That sure sucks about the drivers License. It's going to be rough to get out and do any hunting until you get it back.

I'd be happy to help you skin out a Griz, just be sure to kill him someplace we can drive to. I don't want to have to pack him out!

We were working out near the Seminole Reservoir today, saw some beaver sign and made the Foreman stop so I could check it out. I'm beginning to kick myself for not bringing my Beaver traps, or at least a few dozen snares with me.

I'm on call this weekend, so I won't be getting out to hunt, but by next weekend...... ;-)
