Step forward please. Got a surprise yesterday and found out that I was suspended from PM because someone there identified me as Wyatt Earp on the monster board.LOL I don't think I have posted anywhere sense my computer crashed Last February. I lost all off my passwords in the crash so now that hunting season is comming up in a month or so I thought I would get back on line to see what everyone was up too.
Leonard hooked me up with my old password here but when I contacted pm they informed me that I had been suspended because of the Wyatt Earp thing. LOL. RockinBbar called me up to talk about it. It's all good now but I would sure like to know who Wyatt Earp is or at least what he said that would make them believe he was me. LOL
Good hunting.

Don't know anything about the Wyatt Earp thing...
But it is good to see you back around.

Q,
No idea who Wyatt Earp was...
Funny thing was a month or so back, when everyone was bailing off of PM, a guy I didn't know, emailed me and asked if I knew anything about PM banning of Q. Wagoner.
I emailed back and said I had no clue about the banning of Q as I'm not on the "inner circle" on any board. I guess you just got caught in some friendly fire huh Q.
Kinda like what the vigilantes and law-gone astray did to Clint Eastwood in "Hang'em High"

Good to see you online again. Now, before you do anything else, type out that story you promised me and e-mail it to me ASAP.

Thank's guys and it is good to be back. I am sure looking forward to the upcoming season. Been a long summer for me. Come November the coyotes are going to think the world is comming to an end!
Good hunting.

LOL Not sure whoses balls we were busting when I came up with that one? Not much has changed though. Every one is trying to turn a buck and gain notoriety in this field. Shaw sent me a DVD last year that really out lines what predator hunting consists of these days. Had a few characters from MO I think"?" Supporting AR's and an e-caller out geten'R done. LOL I think Shaw had the stomach to watch the whole fiasco but I sure didn't. Had to turn it off when some dude had
a couple coyotes stacked out in front of him while he was giving some commentary about the hunt. It wouldn't have been so bad if one of the coyotes wasn't still alive and gasping for air.LOL
Not sure what the shot/kill ratio was but it was well over 100 shots for around 40 coyotes or so? Makes a guy wonder what hit the cutting room floor? LOL
It just consisted of a few guys that learned how to push "play" on there caller that found a great outlet for bulk 223 ammo.
Good hunting.

Yeah, I can't wait for that little dink from AZ to come out with a ladder video.

Geez, Leonard... that there is funny. Glad you are just pulling his leg.
Q...Push play and bulk 223 ammo.LOL
Between reading about the passing of DB and this thread, this was the saddest and funniest part of my day.

I have nothing against the AR'S really I don't but i believe it's breeding a whole different predator caller.
I truly wish i could afford one right now they are a great rifle but there is people using them in the wrong context as Q has said with shot/kill ratios.

I have nothing against AR's eather. I have a real tack driver myself. Not for coyote hunting though. With politics the way they are I may need it to help take back our country! LOL
You are right, AR's and even e-calls are creating a different bread of hunter. Technology and superior firepower are quickly replacing woodsmanship. I am somewhat of a traditonalest. I take the most pride and pleasure in calling in coyotes with a hand call and taking them with a bolt action.
Good hunting.

I have come full circle myself. I started with hand calls and a bolt rifle. Got a JS 512 and still used bolt rifle. Then got an MP3 based call and used bolt rifle. Oh, and shotguns sometimes. Call crapped out and Ive been having fun the last couple years just using hand calls again. Still love my bolts. However, I did buy an AR last Feb. Havent used it much but it is a very nice gun on stand. Just because it can do it, doesnt mean you have to spray and pray. Light, fast handling and accurate. I dont see the problem with the AR. Just some of the dickwads using that use them.
Right now, I travel about as light as ever when calling. My lanyard has an AP6, a Weems Replica and a Higgins Howler in my pocket.

Andy,
I've tried the e-callers a bit over the last 8 years or so, and honestly, I call more coyotes with hand calls. I keep the e-caller around for a few situation where I want the sound away from me, but that's about it.
As far as AR's, well...nothing against them or those who use 'em effectively, but my interest in 'em lasts right up 'till I pick one up.
That's when I suddenly remember how much I like a bolt action rifle. A bolt action feels natural in my hands; an AR feels...odd.
