Well, I went to the doctor yesterday and got the MRIs done. Wow, that sucked btw. My arm was killing me. Had to come out of the tube three times to let it rest up. Took over an hour.

Anyway, my suspicions were broght to light. My left rotator cuff is literally torn in half. No wonder it hurts like holy hell. Also he says there is a ton of fluid buildup in the shoulder, adding to the problems. I cant get into a shoulder guy, this was the neck guy that ordered the pictures, until Sept 14. Then he will have to schedule surgery, then healing, blah blah blah. So I dont see anyway possible I will be there for the campout. I really regret it. I like this group of guys alot and was looking forward to seeing everyone again.

As for my neck, not one but two discs that are bulging. They have to be fixed too, but not as urgent. I can live with the pain they are causing at the moment. I cant with the shoulder, it fuckin hurts, no two ways about it.

Not going to be a goood hunting season Im afraid.

I was wondering how they turned out. That really sucks, Andy.

And believe me, I can empathize with being crippled up. Nothing good about it.

You'll be in our prayers, buddy. Hope you have a fast and full recovery.

I've had both shoulders cut on for rotator cuff tears. Three screws in the right shoulder last year and two in the left shoulder last June.

I can only describe it as a swift kick in the nuts. Plus you get to sleep sitting in a chair for about a month after the surgery.

If the Doc can do an arthroscopic repair it won't be as bad.

You'll get through it but it won't be pleasant.

Good luck with it.

Ill see how it goes. If I get it done and feel like I can at all, Ill come out.

Tell ya what. Even if I cant hold a gun up yet, if I feel like I can even semi comfortably make the ride out there, my boy has his drivers permit now, we will wheel it out there. If some of you guys could put a coyote or two in front of the young man.

You guys will like him. Hes just one of the boys at 15. And dont worry, hes heard and seen it all. Just look who he lives with. LMAO

That's rotten luck Andy. My Mom had rotator cuff surgery about ten months ago. My Wife's Mom, had her shoulder replaced about three months ago. The replacement surgery seemed to go easier, with a shorter recovery period and less PT, than the rotator surgery...

Sucks...
