Who to side with? Peta is upset with Obama for swatting a fly. I have no use for Obama or Peta. The stupidity of Peta forces me to take Obama's side. I feel all warm and fuzzy.
Good huting. LB

Side with PETA; if they want to look stupid........... help them. A fly is a rat is a boy is a Mr. Koolaid. Or something like that.
Besides, if HE wanted to, The Annointed One could bring that fly back to life!!!!

I must have been temporarily blinded by his halo. I couldn't tell the flavor. Was it Lime? .....like Jim Jones served?
And, I thought I really (disliked) Clinton! Compared to Obama, the man was a Saint!
Good hunting. LB

Just the chickens coming home to roost. He actively courted their support during the campaign.
Hi guys, I’m back. Lost this site quite awhile ago, but found it again thanks to a friend.

Hey Bob, How goes the lion chasing? Still running those dogs?

Hi Andy - I haven’t received any e-mail.
Steve - I don’t do much chasing anymore. Can’t do long hikes or rides anymore. I’m lucky just to climb on a horse these days, and I keep the rides short. Once on board though, I can ride farther than I can walk. I’m down to 1 usable dog. Still have an old timer, but she’s 13+ and in about the same shape I’m in. I still get in some calling though.

Do tell, Andy.
I'm just getting my wife healed up from a horse wreck a few weeks ago. She had to have some surgery to fix her shoulder and as it started to heal she kept complaining that her back, hip, and leg were hurting more and more. She finally went for X-rays again a couple weeks ago and found that she had broken her hip and pelvis also. She had been walking around on it for a month. Shes tougher than I am.

CT... did she score at least an 85 or better?
If she needs more practice, I have a gray horse that needs some of the SD spur in him.
All kidding aside, I hope all is well in wonderful WY.

She was riding a gentle horse, JB and ponying a colt. Somehow things got tangled and the one she was riding crashed and burned. It was in the arena and it was worked up good. I can't imagine what she would have broke if it would have been on hard ground.

Well, one person came running over to my truck, because they knew I had a motorola FM radio in the truck that I used to keep in contact with other's I worked with. They wanted me to call someone to get the cops there before any of the 'bangers got killed.
So, I casually looked towards some of my friends, and said, "I have sodas in the back; anyone bring popcorn?"
Seriously, when two evils butt heads, it matters not who wins. Just enjoy the show for what entertainment value it might contain.
Andy, I'm sure sorry to hear about your arm. Hope you heal up soon!

Hey Andy,
I guess I was in a hurry when I posted. For some reason, half my post is missing.
Oh well, didn't really matter any way.
Heal up quick, amigo. Being down and out really sucks. Trust me, I know.

ive had my fair share of horse wrecks. dad got better later, but when i was a kid, there wasnt much prepping a colt. ear him down to get on him, wrap a lead rope around the saddle horn of the biggest and best broke horse you got, alot of wrecks happened here, pony him out into a big open pasture, the one we normally used meant a half mile of ponying, and turn him loose. if you could hang thru the first burst of bucks and get him to runnin, you could run alot of it out and do some good. leonard, ive had some wild rides in that big creek bottom on that farm i took you to.
only time i got really hurt was a horse fell and broke my ankle in three places. that was 21 yrs ago and still gives me fits.
