I have not visited garbagemonster in months, but did, just now. The usual stuff until someone posts a photo of someone who died recently and the sanctimonious blathering began, all about respect for the dearly departed.
Well, I guess I just can't keep my mouth shut but I have no use for this guy blowing his brains out in front of his wife. This is my personal opinion, but I don't see why everybody has been keeping the details secret, considering what he did to his family, and what they will have to live with for the rest of their lives for such a stupid selfish act? Just unforgivable, in my opinion. I don't know who Mongo is, but it's about time somebody lifted the covers.
Those that are chastising other people for posting a crummy photo just because the man killed a kit fox and he died, are misguided. Forget about it or address the facts, but I (personally) fail to see where the man deserves respect and why some people contine to protect him? And, yeah, by all acounts, he had a drinking problem. Some hero.

Damn, I didn't know all of that information. I did know he had shot himself, but not the circumstances of the deed.
I myself would start on the people I don't like and save the last bullet for myself.

I always figured that if I had to shoot myself, it would damn sure be a running shot. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Suicide is the most selfish, self centered act of all. A permanent solution to a temporary problem. There is lots of help for the alky. Booze just gave him insanity to pull the trigger and leave the mess for someone else.

I guess that's my point. He was a great guy, they say? A great guy wouldn't make his wife witness such a cowardly act. It's actually disgusting to me to see the misguided effort in hush hushing the incident and the details. Especially this rokinbar guy that don't know him from Adam. Now, it's his mission in life to pick a fight with anyone tarnishing what I see as an undeserved image. He also thinks that he is the moral authority on the whole deal. It was in the papers, ya know? Cut the friggin' drama.
*BTW, Gary thinks his is the only place where you can get away with saying fuck.

Where is rokinbar doing all this mission work?

I don't know, Dan? If I'm wrong, I apologize. I thought he was robocop? That's the problem with the stupid names they use on garbagemonster. Only gary knows and that seems to be the way he gets his rocks off?
oh, yeah, now I remember! It's redfrog, your buddy!

I think it actually takes a real go getter and self starter to successfully kill oneself. These pussies that can't do it correctly and live are the selfish ones.

Gary won't let pussgut register on the monster board, what a shame huh.
Robo is from Tucson and I've asked him on numerous occasions if he went to school in no-gals-ass. He however never answered the question, so I assume he did. Wonder if he is a w.b.

Leonard,
Since this subject has been tabled on your board, allow me to clear a few things up if I may. As some already know, or suspect, I am Robocop on the Garbagemonster board, not Rockinbar, and certainly not Redfrog. Me. In the many years that I have been a member here, PM, and even the Shade Tree, I have never flamed on a single person, nor stirred a single pot. I haven't even so much as flipped a single turd. Until now.
I am going to preface my comments by letting you know, I am not posting this to bring any unneccesary brain damage to you're board, I am simply addressing what is already being discussed here.
My post on the Monster board was not one that had any hidden agenda or meaning. Was it a bit more colorful than was really neccessary? It probably was, but no more so than most of the other posts I have seen spewing venom with every other sentence. I figured I wanted to get my point accross in a way they were accustomed to.
I did not make the post with any intention of "covering up" the way in which the young man died. The way he died, in my opinion, was immaterial. I don't agree with how it occured, but I figure he will answer for that one day on his own. Fact is, he was a fairly young man that obviously has some personal issue's, and made the ultimate wrong decision. Noone is attempting to paint him as any kind of hero, but I will also not villify him in his absence.
I did not make the post to support him or the others with regards to the dead pups/foxes either.
I made the post in an attempt to simply have his photo removed out of decency. No more, no less.
This was a post that I made because I felt very strongly about it, as evidenced by the way in which I went about making the post.
I did not make the post with the intent of infringing on anyone's freedom of speech, as has been suggested.
In the many years that I have been associated with this board and PM, this has been the only time that I have felt the need to make such a post.
Again. My intent here was not bring drama to your board, but to civily explain or discuss the post that was made by me.
If anyone has any questions, of any kind, feel free to ask. I will be more than happy to discuss them with you whenever you'd like.
Dan, you are correct. I now live in Tucson. I grew up in Phoenix, and I am not from Nogales, and no, I don't think that I am a W.B.
I am the guy who was attempting to petition the State of Arizona to legalize night hunting. You remember?

You are more than welcomed to give me a call if you'd like. Just send me a PM and I'll give you my number so we can get a few things straight. I look forward to addressing any questions that you might have.
Leonard, thanks for allowing me to clear the air.
Jeff.

He killed himself for selfish reasons a lot of people do it for just this reason! they think it will make a name for themselves or think about what everyone would say if they were dead. He's a coward and shouldn't get any recognition for anything just because he killed himself let him rot and i pray for his family

Okay, Jeff, thanks for clearing up the I.D. for me. Other than that, I could care less about your motivation. I said my piece, you already made it clear about your feelings, so as far as the man and the myth, he will be judged by his maker. I don't know anybody in his family, but I truly feel a lot of sympathy for them. They have their whole lives to deal with the pain and guilt and (although I don't know them) I know they don't deserve the burden placed on them by this "great guy and fellow hunter". I'm just tired of the jumping down people's throats over a man that didn't value his own life or his loved ones. When you get right down to it, a couple crummy pictures is not much reason for all the drama. Nobody would have said or implied a thing if you had not made a big deal of it; mainly because few people actually know who he is or the circumstances.
In any case, I give you credit for the explanation even if I don't agree with your reasoning.
Good hunting. LB
PS rokingbaby, accept my apologies. Somebody said it was you and it read like something you would say. If you read this, I'm sorry for pinning the mess on you.

Jeff, I know who and what you are, and have known since day one. We've had a Little fun poking each other on the "monster" board, which I might add I don't take too seriously, as a matter of fact I don't take anything TOO seriously.
I made it a point to let you know I knew who you were in several posts, but never outed you to the readers. as far as the thread in question. I did not voice my opinion of the tragic event, or the pictures even though I knew most of the details.
I pushed the petition for the Legalization of Night Hunting in the State of Arizona as much as I could and thanks for your help in the matter.
If you feel the need to straighten me out on certain points, feel free to call me. 520-251-1455 I even talk to that socialist skum bag pussgut on a semi regular basis, on his nickle LOL, so it's apparent I will talk to anyone.
