I don't care, I still think USC could whoop ass on either of those two teams.

Who's the best, Utah, Texas, somebody else? What do you think?

Good hunting. LB

1st Quarter, no score. But what's with the trick plays? Why are they snapping the ball into the backfield? That's weird!

Who does USC play that proves they are better??

Besides Oregon State..............Kidding Leonard

Utah made a good point that they should be up there but the Mountain West is only one step ahead of the PAC. Utah did have some pretty good wins though.

Going for OU tonight just because I hate Florida.

It's tough not to look at Utah as number 1.

USC lost to Oregon st.

Utah beat Oregon st.

Nobody has proven they can beat Utah no other team can say that.....

Alabama was number one for quite a while and Utah handed them there ass....

My votes for UTAH.....

Get real, Chad! All they got is SC rejects. [Smile]

PS, that goal line stand wasn't so much hard nosed football by Florida, it was idiot play calling by the Okie coaching staff.

Agreed Leanard

UTCaller, you think a Mountain West team can be number one?? We did have a very good conference this year but its easy to say that when they didnt have to play any of the top teams most the year.

Don't worry, we'll choke here in a little while. Remember it's a bowl game...

Now if every team would play every team we'd see who was toughest on a given day. Until we get a playoff we'll have to beleive OU is #1 cause they are. Don't go whining about the rules after you lost.

I like your team to win, Tom64, but don't be crowing to loud, they can be beat and SC can beat them.

No crowing here, remember I said we'd choke because it is a bowl game. Although they do surprise me tonight.

Well, you had the cuter cheerleaders. Dang, listening to the announcers, I thought it was Jesus Christ himself playing Q back for Florida?

Anybody else feel the earthquake?

Good hunting. LB

For once I hate to be right.

Things I learned...

OU is the most penalized team out there.

It's better to be the underdog.

OU needs to stick to strictly home games.

When you say stupid crap, it comes back to bite you.

Oh well, there's always next year.

Wonder who else we'll recruit from Texas?

It comes down to this every year with the BCS system and it sucks. Waiting 4-5 weeks for the final games is silly unless you're a player recovering from open heart surgery. In the two games I watched, Texas/Ohio St and Fla/Ok all the teams looked rusty in the first half. The momentum is lost from the season and the defense has the advantage in these situations.

I would love to see Florida and USC play and hey, Utah deserves a shot at something. In my opinion, at this point of the season, USC is the best in the land.

Unless they have a playoff,Utah is the best in the Land....They handed a team that was number one for sometime(Alabama) there ASS....USC lost to a non ranked Oregon State team that a couple weeks later Utah Beat.Nobody has beaten Utah so until someone does how can they not look at that.FWIW

Hell Utah even beat Alabama worse than the National Champion Florida Gators Did....

Leonard mentioned the announcers...

Was it just me or did they really suck? Can't FOX come up with something better than that for what is supposedly the National championship game [Roll Eyes] ? It didn't really bother me that Tim Tebow performed surgery on crippled children at halftime and the announcers kept talking about it when it became obvious Florida was going to win. [Smile] Seriously though, the QB for Florida is one heckuva player and leader. Its not surprising Florida took OK to the woodshed with him at the helm. I bet a bunch of coaches would love to get ahold of a HS prospsect like him and not the ego driven players that are looking for some camera time the big NFL payday.

I agree about the TV guys. Little over the top about Tebo. I was getting sick of hearing about him and all his humanitarian work.

I think if Utah wants #1 then next year is their chance. Nobody this year would give a MW team a chance at top five. Well when next year starts they will be ranked well and if they can keep up the win streak they will be in it. Especially if they can go undefeated again. Now keeping the #1 spot for more than a week is the trick.

After looking at the graduation rates for some of the bowl schools, it's apparent that going to class and graduation aren't part of the cirriculum. usc, Utah, Texas and Alabama among others have graduation rates UNDER 57%. We all know that usc can pay players ala reggie bush, but getting a college education is only a scam to get football players. BTW, Fla. has a "stellar" grad rate of 68%. Other schools are UNDER the 50% graduation rate, ie. Ga., Ga. Tech, Hawaii, Arizona and Oklahoma.

I'm with leonard..I think USC would beat anybody right now. That include's Utah.Again with no playoff we'll never know.

Yeah they choked to the Beaver's..The Beaver's are a better team than their record indicate's.

I'm pretty sure the Pac-10 is undefeated in this year's bowls.I think the Pac-10 is better than many thought earlier this year.
