As I settle into geezerhood I keep thinking that I've seen everything, and keep getting proven wrong; but this was over the top.
A television station here in Arizona is advertising hand built Amish electric heaters!!!!!
Un-freakin-bee-leave-able.

Kokopelli,
They've been advertising them here for at least a couple years now. Don't you like the scene where they have them loaded in the back of the horse drawn wagon like their headed to town?

Yeah, I was starting to implode about then but I caught that part. Next time the ad runs, I want to see if I can pick out the 'lighting source' in the 'Amish factory'.
Since the Amish (and the Menonites) don't just 'hear' the word, they 'live' the word as they hear it, I have a great deal of respect for these fine people. To see the Amish name used in this way is an abomination.

Hey Kokopelli, you may have seen it all, but now, I've heard it all. In the past week, we've had not one, but two people call our post office and ask the clerks if the need to apply for a passport to go to California. Honest to God. Makes you wonder.....

I'd be okay with that. We got enough weirdos, most not born here.
Good hunting. LB
