Gary made the 6 hour drive to Mesa to speak to the Sept meeting of Arizona Predator Callers Thursday night.
Gary gave an absolutely dynOmite seminar on Close Cover Shotgun Tactics and spoke to a standing room only crowd.
Lots of photos, lots of entertaining anecdotes, lots of great info and tips that some of the members are already putting into good use as evidenced by Scott F.'s post on PM. Scott described using the play-- pause--- technique that Gary shared with us and Scott described successfully shooting through brush with shotgun as Gary shared with all of us Thurs. nite. Scott forgot to credit Gary with the great techniques that are obviously very successful. I know that was just a little oversight so I will double the accolades that Gary deserves for sharing so much in such an entertaining seminar and doing so at his sole expense. Gary refused even gas money for his trip.
Gary, I've had as much positive feedback from members for your seminars as for any, including some very big names.
Thank you Gary. APC thanks you.
PS Tyler took several photos with your camera. Would you post some of them on this thread?

I didn't forget to mention him. I made a post 30 minutes before you posted above. There are two threads from two different kills in the last few days. After hearing the numbers and seeing the pictures he posted from the 2007-2008 season, he truly is one of the best shot gun coyote hunters in the SW in my opinion.
I found Gary to be a fascinating speaker who was speaking on a topic I found applicable to my hunting style. Some of Gary's finer points on shotgun hunting were very informative. I wish I could have stayed and asked him a few questions but I had to get home. I'll ask him particulars on his thread.
A very generous and well versed coyote hunter.

Thanks, Rich, for inviting Gary to speak at the meeting. In my opinion, you have lined up some very knowledgeable people. And, thanks Gary, for taking the time to share your experience with us. I've been waiting a couple years to get some great info from you. I should be able to get out there and give 'em heck in a week or so. We've been experiencing heavy infestations of chiggers up here, so I'm laying low for a spell. Coyotes hate me and chiggers love me. Thanks again,Fred.
