Hi fellas,
I tried river fishing for king salmon on a recent trip to visit the inlaws up in Washington State. Not as exciting as calling coyotes, but something fun to do until the weather cools . It took my daughter 20 minutes to land the little 12 pound king in the photo. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Smithers,
We were drift fishing with casting rods and 15 pound test line with a single barbless hook tied with a yarn streamer. We landed about one of every seven fish that we hooked up on.

Because of the Law?
15 lb test is fun when you lay into those beefy fish. Like using 4 lb and an ultralight to catch a 2 lb bass. FUN!
