Guy from Sturgis ran it. For the life of me I can't remember his name. His side kick was a guy named Norm. First place I met my buddy Doug and Crow Woman and Raven.

Had a chat room. That was neat.

Boy that seems like a hundred years ago.

Remember back when Ed Sceery was on the boards. I liked ole Ed

Didn't Ed and Wiley always argue the upwind/downwind thing??

Ah....memories

Ah memories

Call a coyote into your truck cap trick.

I wasn't too keen to the internet in those days yet. I was a lurker but I don't think I even knew how post back then! I do keenly remember the coyote into the cab video. I was fooled. I am keen to the truth now though. [Smile]

Say, wasn't that a Black Board???

Norm Hale is Bob Davis' cousin. Haven't seen either around for awhile. The shade tree was the predator forum owned by Bruce Kennedy that preceded Posse Country.

How about the "Old Huntmasters" and that skinny old fart that moderated the predator forum?

Or the H.I.S board, and the non-stop train wreck. The RB vs BM hunt that never happened?

Wow! Now there is a site I haven't seen in a while! I think that was my third web site to build. I nearly got divorced over building it, and the first two. That was in the days before drag and drop page building. Everything was typed out by hand in pure HTML code. I even spent several evenings at the local college library reading text books on how to write it. It took almost a full week just to write out a single page, then go back and edit the previous pages with hotlinks and references to it.

I recognize Leonard's bio in the other link, but who's the young guy in the pictures? [Confused]

Does Bob Davis still run Biker week up in Sturgis? The meanest thing he ever did was to install web cams in stratigic locations there in Sturgis, and give us all free access. Right up until the day all of the Bikers showed up, and then everyone who was wanting to check out the biker chicks suddenly found that they needed to pay $15 to use the web cams. [Eek!]

Interestingly, this was taken very recently, and not far from the previous pic. (in bio)

It's not Loco, that original is a tin-type photo plate....kind of fusia colored. Due to modern technology, and colorization processes discovered in the last 50 years, that ancient photo has been brought back to new life....amazing huh?

I didn't know that Jerry, the dentist from the first Bob Newhart show, hunted coyotes. How cool is that?!?

Looking again, it would seem from the scenery that Leonard, or Jerry, or whoever, really took the term "scorched earth" to heart.

Were they hard to see coming in, Jerry?

Bagdad, California south of Old Route 66, looking northwest in the direction of Las Vegas...but before there was a Las Vegas.

The hat is Foothill Little League, Upland, where I was some minor functionary when my kid played ball. He's 44 now, so that photo was probably 1975-76?

Good hunting. LB

edit: that area has an extensive lava flow, Lance.

Leonard, Tyler wants to know if you have any photos of you with large predators that you have called in. Like a T-Rex or velociraptor.

When I was looking at that pictures I thought that the rocks looked like the craters of the moon in Idaho. Old lava fields

There's a lanyard there, somewhere? In that particular location, you can hunker down in the middle of the splits in the rocks, just your eyes showing, and don't really need camo.

Good hunting. LB

Yes, I remember the Predator Possee. Lots of volcanos and lava flows in the southern California deserts. One of the reasons they have so many earthquakes.
Leonard, you were always better looking then me, that's why I never took any pictures. You have no idea what it's like to be coyote ugly.
Your son is 44? Wow, I remember him hunting with you.

WOW Greenside... that's an old pic of me! And to answer your question... yes, I'm doing fine. Still healing... long process. Face is really sore from all of the massaging I have to do to keep the scar tissue from forming...but it's all good [Wink]

Dang... I wish I looked that good nowadays... lol I just turned 46 today or yesterday now... and I'm feeling it!

I remember that board well! That was my first meeting of many of you and I will treasure that!

That looks like a very small pony not a coyote.

Were you using a Musket on that particular hunt!?
