Now fellas, if I've said it once, I've said it at least five times: The .17 make a dandy coyote gun. shoot 'em in the head to stun 'em, then run out there, take the rifle by the barrel and beat them to death with the butt stock. [Smile]

(Of course, if he's 600 yards away, you'd better run fast 'cause that .17 isn't enough to stun 'em for too long.)

Oh it's far from collecting dust(.204).My brother is getting a .17 AH barreled,so he's using my .204 while he waits.I will say my new .17 Remington has some pretty big shoes to fill to beat the success I've had on coyotes with my .204 ruger the last couple years. [Smile]

Loco, follow along! I was trying to be funny. It was in the context of the Blob board where I said that I have about 12 members banned and some of them have multiple names. They (the blobisphere) CLAIMED I am ban happy, which is not close to being true. It is patently UNTRUE. You should know better than to even ask the question, I should probably ban you for asking, damn it!

That would be something... it's called scrap metal!

A Mini-14 doesn't weight enough to make a decent boat anchor, even with the extra material left inside a .17" bore!

as mentioned i'm learning the caliber myself,i picked up my 1st 17 remington in march..

i plan on starting coyote again probably early september..
