It was just a verse I heard in a song and it made me think about the differences in most (not all) town people and those that live out in the sticks. I thought it was a pretty well thought out line.

D.A.Coe is probably one of the greatest songwriters ever. That being said, I went to see him in concert once, and once is all it took. I wouldn't walk across the street to see him again if it was free. As far as that goes I wouldn't piss on him if he were on fire. Probably the most ignorant, moronic asshole I've ever come across.

That reminds me of when I went to see Waylon Jennings and Jessie Coulter a number of years back.
For the longest time, I could see the cymbals move, but not see the drummer.
Turned out that the drummer was their son Shooter, and he was short enough to be mostly hidden behind one of the drums from where I was setting.
He did a hell of a job though, and still seems to be putting out some good music.
