We had tornado's all around us yesterday evening. About 50 miles north of me along I-29, there were 96 boy scouts camping for the week. At about 6:30 p.m., a tornado leveled all four buildings at the boy scout camp, killing at least four people and injuring about fourty more.

Rich I seen that on the news last night, also looks like flooding is bad. My thoughts and prayers went out to the people in that area.

Rich,My heart goes out to those people. We're facing the same thing right here at home this morning. As soon as I get my wife back from a doctor's appointment today, I'll be headed to Chapman, Kansas, ten miles east of me to offer my assistance to them.

I saw a map of that Boy Scout tornado and immediately thought how close it was to our friend, Rich Cronk. Nowhere is safe, anymore.

Good hunting. LB

I thought about how close it was to Council Bluffs, too. Glad you're OK Rich. Then I see that the KS tornado missed Lance by only 10 miles! That's just too close. Thank God our friends were spared.

NASA and Leonard,
The tornado that severely damaged several homes in Millard, Nebraska last sunday was probably ten miles (at the most) from me also. Millard is a small suburb just south of Omaha city limits. This is the worst year for severe spring weather that I have ever seen. One meteoroligist on local news channel predicts that this crazy weather pattern will likely stay with us until july. Kansas and Oklahoma were getting this tornado nightmare for maybe two weeks before it began in my neck of the woods.
