What a phenomenally generous CritterGitter that Mr. Behle is! My kids had Christmas in June this year; such was their fun in opening the giant box addressed to the Gevara kids. Thank you Tim and Joyce. The kids absolutely enjoyed, enjoy, and will enjoy for the years to come all of the wonderful gifts.
I am grateful to have such thoughtful friends. Imagine 5 kids each with 2 predator calls, a turkey call, 1999 Shade Tree baseball caps, all running around, jumping up & down, blowing calls and screeching on the box calls all at the same time. I'll watch all of the predator and elk videos and enjoy the calling cassettes, I'll use them to teach the boys how to work them calls!
Charlene is especially thrilled to have the extra noise. You know she never gets quite enough.

Keep digging around in the box Danny. I'm sure Tim put a set of ear plugs in there for Charlene!

Hey Loco;
Just for yucks & giggles, why not record the whole crew on varmint calls at once to use in a player this fall?? Ya never know, it might be 'The Sound'. Kind of like a group yip howl, only different.

Brilliant! It would be the varmint caller's version of Phil Spector's "Wall of Sound" style music. Might win you a Grammy.

I think that stuff originally came from Chris Kennedy, odds and ends left over from Bruce's Back Outdoor Supplies? Geeze! You would think earplugs would be mandatory?
Cute kids, Danny!
Good hunting. LB
PS What's that head on the floor, to the left? (edit: I know it's a deer)

Before Bruce Passed, he told me that he had "some Predator calls and stuff" That he wanted me to take to the next campout for door prizes, and that maybe I could find some kids who were interested in hunting to give some of the calls to.
Bruce always spoke highly of you Danny, and we spoke a few times about how you like to do lots of outdoor activities with your kids. Those bags were sitting here all packed up when you came to visit, we just forgot to hand them out to the kids as you left.
And no, I didn't include any ear plugs. I figured with out earplugs, Charlene would make sure that you would take the kids out to try out their new calls in the mountains each weekend!

LOL Thanks Tim, good thinkin'!!! WOW, what a nice thought, I'm wponderfully suprised that Bruce remembered m. Seems I owe thanks to Bruce and Chris too.
The hospitality we experienced in ****** is a testament to the generosity of Tim and Joyce. Nothing quite like feeling at home in a stanger's house. My family having never met Tim or Joyce were met at their door with big 'ol hairy hugs, pop and pizza!
Again, thank you for thinking of us!
Thanks Bruce!
Thanks Chris!
Thank you for all the nice comments about my family guys. I feel as I'm sure many of you all do that I am the dang luckiest man on this Earth!
Leonard, the mule deer buck is by no means a monster but he happens to be the biggest I've ever shot. He's a nice respectable specimen, pretty deer; I'll try to find a picture.

Danny,
You're welcomed! I do hope that you and the kids enjoy the calls, etc. that Tim sent. Hopefully, they'll bring you luck -- perhaps the big guy will be watching and helping. I, too, remember that Bruce spoke highly of you.
If you and the family ever get back to the Tucson area let me know.
Chris
