There are only a few days left to sign the petition. Monday, Apr 28th we will take the petition off the sponsoring website. The Commission hearing will be held in Grand Junction, CO 3 days afterwards.
If you, or your friends, neighbors, relatives, drinking buddies, etc, have not signed the petition yet, please do so. Every voice needs to be heard, every vote needs to be counted.
THIS HUNTING BAN NEEDS TO BE STOPPED DRT !
Here’s simple instructions for signing the petition:
1. click on the link http://www.finsandfuroutdoors.net/
2. when it opens, go to the LH column and click on “Sign the Petition”
3. when it opens, go to the center column. there is a BLUE “Sign the Petition”, and below it there is an ORANGE “Sign the Petition”
4. click on the ORANGE “Sign the Petition”
5. fill in your name and the rest of the blanks and hit “send”
That’s all there is to it.
Thanks.

Tom,
Already signed it. Please let us know where to find your follow up update so we can see how things went for you.
Shortly after signing your petition, I pulled out my copy of the 1995 "Colorado Residents' Attitudes Toward Trapping in Colorado" by Fulton, Pate and Manfredo, along with the Human Dimensions In Natural Resources Unit at CSU. (Can you say, "WTF?!?") If you wanna talk about wildlife management gone awry, there you go.
I am hopeful that your efforts find more reasonable and objective ears than did the unsuccessful efforts of trappers and ranchers 13 years ago.
Good luck!
