I just shot Lucky.
I'm sure you've all seen the lost dog poster - dog missing one ear, one eye, one testicle - goes by the name of Lucky.
I just shot the coyote equivalent of Lucky. I normally don't shoot coyotes this time of year unless they are in my yard. Just the rules being as I often have small animals.
Though Lucky had both 'nads he had mange, was missing a right hind foot, his right eye, and one ear was mangled. He had also been shot fairly recently through the fleshy part of both back legs.
To top it off I missed him on the run at about 175-200 yards when he was about 10 ft from safety. He evidently heard the bullet ripping through the brush ahead of him or something because he did an about face and ran back the way he came. Lucky was out of clear view for quite a while, then he stopped in one little clear spot (the one and only) and gave me an off-hand shot at about 325 yards. Lucky's luck held true, because I hit him right where I was aiming......

Joef You did that one a favor , fine shot by the way I don't think I could get 325 off sticks. If I could pull it off you'd have to call me lucky. PM

Great shot I'd have a hard time even seeing him, let alone shootin' him. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
