I had a knee injury last fall prior to the H.M. camp out and the doctors thought the injury would heal itself over time. If i would of sat in the house all winter then maybe it would of heeled, but thats not me. I had to be out hunting coyotes everyday, walking up and down hills and fighting my way through deep snow just so i could kill a coyote or fox. By days end my knee would swell up to the size of my calf muscle, i would put ice on it and then apply heat and take some pills to get the swelling back down so i could hunt again in the mourning. When i got back home from S.D. i had an appointment for follow up with my doctor.
I ended up getting an MRI and the doctor said i will need to have surgery done next month..I hope they can get the problem fixed. Wife said don't worry if my knee still gives me problems we can move to ****** AZ. and i can play checkers with Vic down at the feed store. I told her thats what i'm affraid of! I heard he likes to cheat...Any way i hope all goes well, i have a few more hills and coyotes i would like to get after... T.A.

Come on down Tim, you can wear bermuda shorts, and get some color on those pasty white Scandanavian legs! We can get you one of those "lil rascals" to putt around in, Im sure they make all terrain tires for it, so you won't be hindered during coyote season.....I play chess, not checkers:)

On another note the doc said if you still need brain surgey Lance, they won't have to cut youre head off and shake youre brain out. Doc said they will just make one little cut and just suck it out. [Big Grin] [Razz] OOps mustbe the drugs...LOL

Hell, I had that done two years before my knee replacement. You won't be up and about in two days after a real knee job.

Hope it works for you. LB

Lance they had about six bodies lined up for surgery, The nurse went around and double checked each one and marked the area where the surgery needed to be done. No mistakes this way.

Hey Tim! Consider yourself fortunate! read this:

Woman Goes for Leg Operation, Gets New Anus Instead
Wednesday, March 19, 200

A German retiree is taking a hospital to court after she went in for a leg operation and got a new anus instead, the Daily Telegraph is reporting.

The woman woke up to find she had been mixed up with another patient suffering from incontinence who was to have surgery on her sphincter.

The clinic in Hochfranken, Bavaria, has since suspended the surgical team.

Now the woman is planning to sue the hospital. She still needs the leg operation and is searching for another hospital to do it.

When I had rotator cuff surgery two years ago they wanted me to mark which shoulder. I drew a "bullseye" and when the nurse saw it, she got a bit huffy and washed it off. She handed the pen back to me and made it clear my initials would be enough.

No sense of humor.

I'd guess that you're back on your feet by now.

Last knee surgury that I had, they worked on 'em both at the same time. Had the left one totally rebuilt and had the right one scoped and had a piece of loose cartilidge removed that kept getting in the joint and locking it up. The doc told me afterwards that I needed to have the right one rebuilt again, it had been done in the late 80's, but the pain of the rebuilt left one, convinced me that I will be holding off before another rebuild.
