Clint, I sure hope that you are right, though I'm not convinced that the voting public is that smart.
Would racism even be on the radar if it were not for people like Wright, Jackson, and Sharpton?
Hillary is no better, she was singing Jacksons praises on the news a few days ago.
People need to get over it and move on.
BTW, all mention of this topic has disappeared from CNN and MSN to be replaced by shots at McCain because he interchanged the name AlQueda for terrorist during a speech in Jordan. How handy that the DNC and the supporting media can raise a verbal stumble above the level of treasonous hate-filled racial antagonism as a way of life.

Rag head Obama shot himself in the foot with that stupid speach alright, but the knot heads who are behind him ain't smart enough to see what he really is. This year is very first time that I have come to believe that people should be required to take an I.Q. test before they are allowed to vote.

In terms of securing the nomination, I think this latest dust up helps Obama more than hurts him. Notice the silence of the Clinton's. They're scared shitless to even touch it. For them, that is saying a lot. The way Obama capitalized on the opportunity with that speech, was a genius stroke, I think. Turned a small blip of a negative into a larger echo of a positive. And, as just mentioned, Clinton's were/are too scared to touch it and lose out on leading news cycles for the first time since the lead up to March 4. Super D's are all waiting for the breeze to get steady, and many still remember the ass pounding the party took in house and senate while Slick was running the show. They aren't in any hurry to save the Clinton's.

To me, it's unbelievable that this guy has got where he is on the basis of smoke and mirrors?
His mantra is "CHANGE". And, half the country is following him like The Music Man or maybe the Pied Piper? He's a god damned "spellbinder".
He never heard Rev Wright say: "God Damn America"? I watched one commentator last night and she said; "well, he said he wasn't there and he didn't hear it." "We are electing Obama, not Rev Wright"
Oh yeah? Guess what, twenty years of brainwashing, and that's exactly what we are doing, electing someone with the radical hate views of Rev Wright.
Remember what Obama's wife said just a couple weeks ago? For the first time, she is pround of America. Her and her husband have had many opportunities and privilages, several successes including serving as one of 100 United States Senators....and this is the first time she has ever been proud of her country? What does she want, a Coronation? I don't like the bitch. Too angry.
But, the real question becomes; which of them can we beat in November? Man! I wish I knew who to root for? Of course, if Hillary doesn't get the nomination, maybe we get a twofer? He loses, and she slashes her wrists?

LB, in my early years, I was a writer. Albeit a technical writer of Air Force Operation and Maintenance Manuals, a writer nevertheless. A decade after that I did a 4 year stint as a proofreader, then on to lead editor of the Publications Department at Ralph M. Parsons Co. They were the prime contractor for the Titan 2 Ground Support/Fueling System. It was then that I transitioned into Space Applications and Electronics Survivability.
But you're right. I erred. I said "literary privilege" when I meant to say "literary license". ![[Roll Eyes]](rolleyes.gif)

The DNC is doing a good job of keeping these two dipshits top of mind. Was it planned?
McCain and the RNC are on the back burner. The best thing that could have happened and didn't, was for the Republican's to have propped up Huckabee or dare I say, Ron Paul for a while longer...
Yo-bama and The Beaver are catching headlines and McCain is the kid in the back of the class with his finger in his nose. Will he eat the booger or not?
Until they choose between the chalky guy or that broad and the debates with McCain start, it's gonna be hell...
