Not to make light of the tragic events in NYC today where a giant construction crane fell and mashed a small apartment building, hurting and killing people. But, does anyone else see the irony in what happened here, as far as the name of the building?

OK, I know I am old and slow, but would someone tell me what FUBAR stands for? I have wondered about that word ever since I heard it being used in a Tom Hanks war movie. [Confused]

Thanks Mr. Higgins. I guess that means it ain't very nice when Leonard uses that word and your name in very same sentence? [Roll Eyes] I had better stop using the word "fubar" in church too.

Whichever you choose to use, it pretty much suits that building now, huh? Talk about a coincidence!

Rich, I just felt compelled to perform a Paul Harvey service for you. For years people around you have talked about someone you thought was a Russian idiot named Fubarich. And now you know the rest of the story.

I don't have much to add to this conversation beyond this odd road sign found South of Tucson, AZ.
