It was like a nice 68F Spring day.
Here is a video clip of a perfect day for some ground squirrel control. The fields have been planted in wheat and the ground squirrels are grazing on the young plants. The rancher is happy to have some help with them. These two ground squirrels were at about 150 yards. The rifle was my 17 Ackley Hornet shooting the 20 gr V-Max moly at 3880 fps with 12.2 gr AA-1680. Todd was running the camera.

Looks like fun, Al. Good shooting.
Appears we are having an early spring? My roses are budding, and my tortoises have been out of their burrow for almost a week, now.

It is cold and windy today. The little 17 wouldn't be much good in 40 mph winds today. No feed back yet on the chicken farmer. I will let you know what happens if I get some info.

Wish the groung squirrels were out here. Right now they would have to tunnel through 3 inches of hard packed sleet and ice to stick their heads out.
