Do coydogs really exsist? I'm scientifically trying to figure it out. I have a female coyote in heat, and a dog that acts like Brad Norman at 20 (he'll hump anything that holds still). Anyway the dog is the only male I have that the coyote will tolerate, and he seems to like her too. Funny deal, because he is a coyote eating machine in the hills. He's a cur/pit/plott cross. So, who wants a pup if this works?

Cal: you could take her out into the pasture stake her out and have her breed by another coyote. I would like some coyote pups, but found out alot of red-tape is involved as far as getting them across the boarder.. T.A.

That seems a bit unfair. All of the pups will have a complex and hate themselves. They'll be eating themselves tail first.
I have a feeling that after a while the coyote gene would tend to show more than the males genes.
Any chance, in the future, of you hooking up with those Moe's with the tigers in Vegas? You could start breeding Coydog Ligres.

Yes, I could be creating a monster. Or not. He hasn't got the task accomplished yet, but they are trying.

3 Toes, Very interesting plan. Maybe you could get a grant for that study.

Cal, mark me down for a female. Will be interesting to see the end result. Will call it the Calyote!!LOL

That does seem a bit unfair. You, of all people, should know that coydogs do not exist.

A cur/Pit/Plott cross? I'll bet he's a gritty bastard. Wouldn't be surprised if the Pit and the Plott parts got into it, devoured each other and left you with a full blood Cur.

Where is my reply?
Yesterday I replied that I get DIBBS on a male. We were thinking about buying one of those blue somethingoranothers that have coyote blood in them.
Sign up the Gevara Herd for a male!!!

Blue Lacy, Loco.
But it remains to be seen if they are going to "get er done". I may have to muzzle the coyote.
