Danny and I both grew up in El Monte. We were the El Monte Lions for a very good reason. This was right on Valley Blvd. and Peck Road, across the street from the In and Out, where a McDonalds is today.

There is a plaque on a pedestal on the south east corner of Peck and Valley behind a tall black wrought iron fence that commemorates the Lion farm. My landlord is 84 born and raised in El Monte and told me all about the Lion farm. Pretty cool.
