Hey Ronnie, I just opened the Fall edition of PREDATOR HUNTING to Lance Hommans very good article on multiple sounds and found a full page photo that I believe features your nose. lol
That's about all that can be seen of you.
Wasn't that photo on the cover of T&PC a few years ago? This one is in full color and I have to marvel at Paul Wait's photography talents.
What 3D camo pattern are you wearing? It looks like you are sitting back in the scrub brush with branches in front of you.
What rifle are you holding? It looks like it is only 2 1/2 feet long.

Rich,

I didn't realize that was Ronnie until he e/m'd me and called my attention to it. But, according to him, it is, and I'm hoping it is his nose.

Yes. That is my nose. It is very handy during heavy rains to keep water off my calls, range finder, etc.

The rifle is a NEF 223 I had gut to just over legal length. When I lost the use of my legs I wonted a rifle that would ride inside the width of my four wheeler, and not catch on brush. Like it's name says just to be "Handy". Little did I know how handy it would prove to be. The first group went .177. I have not matched that group with rifles I have several grand in. The day that picture was taken I think it took three Coyotes and two hogs. One a 200 lb+ bore running wide open at a little under 200 yards. One shot and he flipped on his back and kicked twice. This was witnessed by Paul Wait.

Now for the impotent part. The reason I appear covered up is Paul says he cant afford to publish a picture of my face. Women would be calling from all over, and People magazine would wont to name me sexist man of the year. All this would interfere to much with my hunting.

I think Lance did a great job on the article. Useful to newest of hunters and gray beards also.

I can vouch for the Sexiest Man of The Year thing! If it hadn't been for the fact that Judy is an expert shooter there would have been a fight out there in Texas when I went to visit Ronnie! [Wink] But... I valued my life and thought better of the situation [Cool]

The reason you appear covered up is Paul says that he can't afford to replace that expensive lens. [Big Grin]

Bowjunkie, you can order the magazine from Trapper and Predator Callers website.
Barnes and Noble, Bass Pro, and WalMart carry it here.
