For those that may have known Mike as a member of one of many organizations and a great supporter of the calling clubs just thought I would let you know. We lost a great friend and great supporter of the Arizona Deer Association last night. One of the original founding board members, Mike Kannapal past last night 10/23. He was truly one of the good guys in life and was on the cutting edge of the outdoor world.

Damn. I haven't talked to Mike in three weeks. He couldn't talk but wrote notes. He was planning on entering the World at the end of November. He had a particularly bad time of it but I never saw any signs of quit in him. He said that he called in over 300 lions in his career, mostly for clients.

Real sad deal Rich. I havent heard any details other than maybe a memorial donation to one of the hunt organizations. He was a class act and one of the best lion hunters and callers I have ever known. It is sad to loose those dear to our hearts as you know we all are kinda like family out there. But just thought those that knew him would like to know.
