Heather and I announced our wedding here and many of our friends visited our reception pages. So we thought it would be fitting to let our many friends here know of our most recent blessing.
It looks like my future entry fees might be eaten up by pampers for a while.

Congratulations Byran and Heather. Great pictures and as you say a great blessing. Bridger Jerrold has been blessed as well to be born to such a great family. Looks like your training him well already. Well, as you know teach them early and they won't stray. Best wishes to your whole family, Pat

Contrats Brian! But don't look at it as entry fees going away, look at it as more reason to enter and win.

I went with paper towels, duct tape, and the garden hose rinse for my daughter's diapers. Probably a bad idea; she turned out to have an evil streak & a twisted sense of humor. On the other hand, she's a pretty good shot.
Congrats on the new ankle biter. They won't change your life....... much.

Ain't that the truth... My Children are the best thing that ever happened in my life, but the years are flying by so fast now I can't even keep track of them.

Thanks all. It has been a crazy few days and time is blowing by already. I think it will seem like forever before I hear him say “THERE’S ONE DAD!”
Thanks again.

Congrats Bryan!
Yep, you are right the first one can be a little crazy, but you will look back and laugh a few years from now.
They will grow up quicker than you can imagine. You will start doing things over the next few years that you haven't done since you were a kid, and guess what? It will be fun!
Good luck to you, Heather, and young Bridger.

Yep. Case in point? HOT WHEELS!!! And, the truck with the infinite number of gears! Vroooooom, vrooom, vrooom. LOL But, I warn you... if someone catches you playing cars by yourself when your boy is gone or doing something else, they will look at you kinda funny. Oh, don't forget GI Joes! Building forts, having your own chapter of the "He Man Woman Hater's Club", blowing up ant hills, lighting stuff on fire with a magnifying glass, little league, swimming in the creek for as long as it takes until mom finds out, ...where does it end? Oh... one more thing - mom will suffer puppies and cats, but draws the line at bullsnakes and kitten coons. Maybe Heather will be different in that respect.
My best advice? Learn to keep things in perspective and don't sweat the small stuff. [ September 12, 2007, 12:10 PM: Message edited by: Cdog911 ]

I know we're beating a dead horse now but ...I must anyway.
When we'd been married for about 2-3 years, I told my dad, "Now I know what all you old guys were always talking about when you complained about years flying by." He responded with, "Just wait until you have kids, then decades fly by."
"Whew!!!" The wisdom of "old guys"...!!! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)
