Hey Cdog; Surely your Dr. wouldn't object to fresh fruit, would he??
Half some fresh peaches.
Discard the pits.
Dump a jar of honey into a gal. zip loc bag.
Add a little cinnamon, and/or nutmeg, clove, allspice.
Squish it around to mix & add the peach halves. Squish around a little more, gently.
Remove halves with tongs and place on BBQ grill. About 4 or 5 minutes.
The idea's not to cook them to paste, just let them know they've been to the fire.
Remove halves to serving bowls. In the dent where the pit was, drop in a spoonfull of a good strawberry preserve.
Add a couple of scoops of Vanilla Haagen Daz ice cream on the side.
Dribble a little left over honey over everything.
Enjoy

Nope. Just refined sugar. Fruit is good, and that sounds good. He gives me a bye on ice cream, in moderation, because of the calcium. I can eat sugar, but I have to have something high in protein at the same time. Occasionally, I'll eat a Reese's peanut butter cup because the peanut butter literally offsets the problems I have from the chocolate. I just tell the wife I have a prescription for them.

Glad I could help!!!
Bear in mind though; there's enough calories in that peach dish to make my coffee post look like a diet beverage.

I have to admit, I am very fond of peaches. Peach cobbler, peach ice cream, and anything else. Your recipe looks delicious, koko. Now, what would be best, cling or freestone?
Good huynting. LB

"Hey Joe", (Hendrix)
I walked out of my house the other day singing "I'm a joker
I'm a smoker
I'm a midnight toker" (I mixed up the lyrics)
then pretended to light a bong
My chick just rolled her eyes and then a super loud cackle came from the neighbor across the street that never says anything. The wifey and I had a really good laugh too. Its been a long time since I've gotten so embarrassified.
I've been super mucho busy lately and I've really missed you guys. I've got to get my priorities back in order

That neighbor swears he heard you singing,
"I'm a huffer,
I'm whiffer,
I'm a pee-fart sniffer.
Get my jollies where I can.
I'm a stroker,
I'm a poker,
I'm a chicken choker.
I'm busy growing my clan."
