Earth calling Krusty; Earth calling Krusty; Come in Krusty;

Hey Krusty, it looks like I'm going to be able to make it to Cashmeer this weekend for the Wa. Trappers get together. If you're going to be there, I'll bring us a couple of Moose Drools.

I couldn't help it.

It just makes a man feel good to post on a thread named "Krusty."

Speaking of Krusty...

My brother and sister-in-law just had a baby boy in Seattle and I may come callin' in a couple weeks to inspect the little two-legged.

Krusty, shoot me an email if you'd be interested in grabbing coffee or a beer or the like.

So, Leonard; Plan a quick road trip on up there & pick up some reloading supplys in person. Think what you'd save in shipping!! Then cruise over to the fairgrounds and meet the trappers. Good people. Plus... you, moi, & Krusty together; now THAT would be a Kodac Moment!!

Krusty probably spent a bad night, sleeping with that basket on his back.

And, advice for Krusty, if he ever finds this topic. Remember what Tim said, don't bend at the waist. Imagine that basket is full of shit, and you don't want it dumped on your head.

Good hunting. LB

PS I don't do well in the state of Washington. They drive like maniacs, and hate Californians, almost like we are the new wetbacks? I had one ******* try to run me off the road because of my plate, and because I was in the fast lane. Maniacs! Oh yeah, their chickenshit Highway Patrol drives unmarked cars and writes speeding tickets for two (2) miles over the speed limit. Assholes and maniacs! And, Ted Bundy's. They all need sunshine therapy for clinical depression. But don't think that I simply dislike Washington.....I hate it! If my brother or sister ever want to see me again, they will have to fly south.

Leonard, Washington is not all bad. The summers are really nice. There are about 6 days of summer left this year..... 4 days this week & 2 days next week. Then it will rain non-stop 'til next May.

Simple solution; Bring Tripp along with you to ride shot-gun. You guys could visit kin folk and Tripp could get material for an article.

Leonard "Tripp, cover me....I'm gonna pass that log truck"

Tripp "Which one??"

Leonard "The one that just cut off the Mustang with the handicap plate."

Okay, I will grant you, there appears to be remnants of sanity, in vicinity of Spokane.

Yeah over here we are more conservative, and we complain about the Oregon drivers. They are truly clueless. You Californians drive fast, but you are aware of your surroundings. If Seattle gets a quarter inch of snow on the roads it is chaos. I don't even like driving over there anymore. Western Washington sure is gorgeous for half the year though. There are even a few gals over there that still shave their legs and armpits and don't dress like granola tree huggers....but just a few.

Well, I dunno how I missed this?

I've been "fighting some fires" elsewhere on the internet, and it's been slow here... and I've been really swamped with work and call making.

I'm having a particularly bad day today.

Kokopelli,

At this point in time, it doesn't look like I'm going to make it.

I always liked this one;

Summer in Seattle usually happens on a Thursday... "Aww man, you shoulda been here, last Thursday!" [Wink]

Tripp,

You'd know as well as I do, with a name like Tripp, it's fun to be named Krusty. [Big Grin]

Dude, you are one dude I'd really like to shake hands with. Let me know when you're going to be around.

All you guys, anytime you come through gimme a holler, I'm just minutes from the airport.

Leonard,

Cashmere, Wa. is also home of Applets and Cotlets candies factory.
They have a great tour.

I've actually had the packbasket a while now, it took a bit to get some pictures, and to be able to write a post that didn't read like I was all choked up.

You are right, Caifornia plates gets you the finger, but TL's right too, Oregon plates get you cut-off before they cut us off.

Were those Oregon handicapped plates?
If so he deserved it.

Well, that's a bummer Dude!!!!

Meeting the Krusty was the whole point of going to Cashmere.

Ok......Plan 'B'. Off to the Wing-Ding at Sportsmans WareHouse in Lacey.

Over & out.

Kokopelli,

When are you going to head south? Surely you aren't hiding from those who went ahead?

Tim; I'm working on selling a house & then I'm gone. Unfortunatly the housing market is being unkind at the moment.

Plus.....I can't hide from 'She Who Must Be Obeyed". She's got all of my stuff!!!

Kokopelli,

When are you going to be in Lacey?

Krusty, I'll be at the Sportsman's WareHouse Sat. and possibly the gun show in Centraillia.

S/W is having some kind of event that sounds interesting. If you can make it, give me some kind of time frame. I still have some maps of coyote stands to show you.

Kokopelli,

I had half a mind to go there to see if they have a TruGlo 2x red-dot, or any of the other scopes that caught my eye, in stock.

I gotta drop the lil woman off at work at 10:00am, how 'bout noon-ish?

Tripp,

Okay, but it might take a little while (tomorrow).

I'm running a little late, the weather caught me off guard, and I have to tarp a chimney I just had done.

It's on the way, but it'll add twenty minutes to a half hour to my commute.

Well it sure was interesting meeting Kokopelli today, I really enjoyed it.

I drove way over the speed limit, in Leonard's honor, and more than made up the time I lost covering my job. [Smile]

The Sportsman's Warehouse only had one pistol scope in stock, a $329 Leupold.

Tripp,

E-mail sent.
