Does anyone know anything about this cool little pump action? The last manufacture date on the rifle is May 30, 1911. Serial number is 516236. Rear sight says PAT. Jan. 29, 1901

...and while your at it, What can you tell me about this US Springfield Model 1863. It looks like a mongo sized caliber .45 or .50 maybe, it is a single shot action that loads from the top and has a hammer like a muzzle loader type.
I know so very little about rifles, please excuse my ignorance. These rifle belonged to my grandpa.
I can't wait to go and try out the .22. It looks like a great flying raw egg killer. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)
