Currently, I do what I want everyday. I'm my own boss. I retired at age 54 from building and remodeling large sawmills in the Pacific Northwest. Also made structural repairs of heavy equipment, built steam lines, etc. I continue my independent investing in the stock market - no brokers aloud. I'm not rich, but I'm doing fine. Most importantly, I'm an up and coming coyote inveigler.

Dusty...Did you ever run across a guy named Scott Meek when working at the sawmills? He reorganized some mills for RSG in Washington and Oregon, than bought and sold a couple of mills in Oregon and California. I paid for a lot of college pulling boards on the green chain.

Tbradford, Don't believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting him. However, you and I are green chain brothers. That's where I started in the 70s after military service.

I'm retired from the transportation industry. My company shipped Mercedes and BMW's from the east coast to southern California dealers, and Honda's were the back haul. I was offered more than the company was worth in early 2004 and sold it. Now I build a few rifles now and then, even shoot some of them in competition.
(In my next life, I will be a mountain man and trapper for a living).

Just someone trying to learn as much as they can about predator hunting in general and coyote hunting in particular.
For the past 33 years I have been a "word merchant" (attorney).
Soon (next week) will be 59 and got a real late start at varmint hunting, which is about all the hunting I do now. So my learning curve is steep. Wish I lived closer to some of the more successful hunters on here so I could get some lessons first hand.
But I will just keep lurking, watching and listening and maybe, just maybe, I will become more successful in terrorizing predators.
