Ahoy fellow coyote whackers. I’ve been out of the loop for a while and if any of you give a rat’s rear I thought I’d fill you in on the scoop…
Last we talked I was in pursuit of the monster skunk from hell. Did my best to catch the tuna-muncher for a good while until I spotted the bastard – biggest freakin’ skunk I could have ever imagined. Anyhow, I set out a bigger trap and he struck a time or two. I haven’t seen or smelled him since. As the digging in my backyard stopped, I theorize he either got offed or grazed onto new pastures.
Last year I was working as the Marketing Director for a bowling manufacturing company (hey, a writer’s gotta have healthcare ya know). Demanding job and was putting in literally 13-14 hours a day, six days a week, which cut out pretty much all extracurriculars. Then one day they called us all into a conference room and told us we had been bought by a competitor, we were all getting two weeks severance and to have a nice day.
So then came the big race… to find a new job before running out of jack. Managed to do that mid-April and have been in training with the new gig and commuting between San Antonio and Houston ever since.
The good news (depending on your point of view) is that I’m done training in three weeks and will be back in San Antonio, officing out of my house, with plenty of time to hunt, write and post.
There you have it. Nice to be back.

Good deal. I guess we can call off the search parties, they were just getting ready to drain the swamp.
Good hunting. LB

Poco-Loco, where you bean man? Are you still making babies, or did you figure out what's causing that? You and I were killing a ton of varmints this time last year. I've been benched so far this year, but I hope you picked up my slack. We need to get together sometime soon.

Heck, I bet Loco and Ms. Loco probably have three or more more little Locettes running around since last we saw of him. LOL
Tripp, good to see you above the waves again.
