Tim has been admitted into the local hospital for a couple of days. Seems that when he came in with a fever (has one everyday) and hives covering his body, they wanted to keep him, even before the procedure. It was delayed an hour to treat his fever. The pulmonary specialist said the procedure should take about 40 minutes. They came to get me in 30. He said that it "looks to be cancer, but we'll know for sure and what kind when the biopsy returns in a few days". The tumor is causing an abrasion in his lungs making puss and he looks to have a little pneumonia. The x-rays taken on June 9 compared to today's shows that it has grown. Further tests will determine what stage it is at. He is upbeat and said "we'll get it fixed, don't worry". After he reached his room, he sounded better, able to carry on a conversation and little to no coughing. What a turn around that was. He hadn't been able to talk very well in the last couple of days and coughing so damn much. I'm thinking the oxygen and IV's are helping too. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, and please keep them coming. Miss Joyce

Tell Tim to keep getting better and to keep a positive attitude. Sounds like he is doing that right now.

I talked to Tim after Joyce left this afternoon. He was just matter of fact about his condition and wanted to talk about how I was doing, what I was up to. Typical of Tim. What ever it is, my money's on Tim.

Well I'm home and feeling great. I finally am getting used to this Oxygen cord dragging behind me, it's a pain in the butt, but it's amazing how much better it makes me feel.
If you are wondering how Higgins fount out I was sick ( I didn't tell anyone ) It was from Leonard, and Leonard found out from our good Friend Bruce Kennedy.
I know that Bruce has made some decisions and said a few things that have pissed off a number of guys in the Predator calling community, but then who here hasn't pissed off someone with a decision or comment before? Deep down, Bruce is a great guy and a hell of a good friend.
I'd lost track with Bruce over the last few months, lost his phone number, and his email is the spam trap from hell, nothing gets though it.
Then on the night I got diagnosed with cancer, he calls me up out of the blue. I was sicker than a dog that night and couldn't speak but for just a minute. Just long enough for him to tell me that he had been diagnosed with stomach cancer 3 days before.
Your prayers for me seemed to have worked pretty dag gone good, as I'm feeling great already. But if you have a few minutes later tonight, can you say a few for my friend Bruce as well?
Thanks for all of your thoughts, calls prayers and kindness,
Tim

Tim Behle, I loved every word in your above post, and I am happy to hear that you are holding on to the old fighting spirit. Your positive attitude is awesome. The Cronk's are pulling for you. Next time you speak with Bruce, please tell him that I am pulling for him also. I wonder if Bruce still has that dog that loves to eat socks? ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

I don't know you, Tim, but I've included you and your family in my prayers ever since Rich gave us the news. Unfortunately, probably all of us have had experience with someone we love having to deal with cancer. I can only imagine what it would be like to actually be diagnosed with it. Your positive attitude is amazing and inspiring.
God Bless. Joel

Can't tell you how good it is to "hear" your voice here Tim. Really, just can't tell you.
Still thinking my best thoughts for you, and will think a few for Bruce as well.

Tim, It's good to have a post from you. I, like others here, have gone through our own humbling experiences. One thing I learned through such experiences is that they have a tendency to remind us of what is important in life; the Creator, family and friends, and I think hunting and trapping fits in there somewhere, too. Positive thoughts coming your way from northern AZ for you, your family and Bruce.

Aint that the damned truth. No way to rest.
Twice I drew the line on robot nurses. One came to check my vitals and I was sittin on the stool. She came on in and was going to do it there. NOT!! The other didnt wake me in the middle of the night for the hourly vital check. Just peeled an eye open and shined a light in there. That will wake you up. LOL
Seriously Tim, keep us updated as you know anything.
God Bless.
