First they take a brand new '57 Plymouth and encase it in a concrete hole so the car sits in 2,000 gallons of water for fifty years.
Then they hold a contest, to guess the population of Tulsa in the year 2007.
Turns out, the winner died in 1979. Congratulations, buddy!
Oh yeah, the car is a rusted hulk.
I hope the PR genius that dreamed it up is alive and is hired to run Hillary's Presidential Campaign.
Good hunting. LB

Quit pickin' on the Okies, Leonard. That it happened in Oklahoma was newsworthy. If it had happened in California it would have been business as usual and no one would have noticed. quote: I hope the PR genius that dreamed it up is alive and is hired to run Hillary's Presidential Campaign.
Me too.

If they'd have done that here at Mojave - that '57 would be perfect!

Our so called, "GLOBAL PAKMAN" Higgins; lately even so famous that Minaska hires him for their pro staff; even though he uses hand calls exclusively, while I (for instance) have to buy their products.....Rich suggests that somehow, I am picking on Okies?
This story is all over the papers and the Internet, but I AM picking on Oakies? (how do you spell that?)
You Sir, need to seek your calling as Spin Doctor for the Clinton Campaign! That takes the cake; I'm picking on Oaky's?

"That it happened in Oklahoma was newsworthy." So very true. Kinda the way I like it.
Leonard, what you didn't get was all the hype leading up to this moment for the last year. Kinda funny. Things will change though. We are getting a fair number of 'prunnies' moving to OK. Alot of them are relatives of the crowd that left in the 1930's. Maintain, Geordie

All I know is it's the only place I had to pay a toll to drive what looked a lot like a "Freeway"? And, how do you spell it, by the way?

'Okie', but I'm an okie and could be wrong. LOL. Don't worry Leonard, I was not offended. We pick on our selves. Maintain, Geordie
edit; The 'toll' roads are the only good roads we have. Sad isn't it. [ June 24, 2007, 09:21 AM: Message edited by: CrossJ ]

It WAS all over the internet. Without the humorous editorials that you slipped in. You were pickin' on the Okies. You spelled Okies three different ways and only one of them is correct. Chant JD's mantra all day long. "I need more fiber! I need more fiber!" I'll call you later and let you listen to my brand new upgraded, with ALL the bells and whistles, Bandit. You will have to come over here and hunt with me to see the GPS function, infra red sensor, automated mist dispensor, and animated decoy dog in action.

What about you Rich? Leonard may be butcheing the spelling of 'Okie', but at least he is not talking as if I'm not here. LOL. Ever thought that I might want to hear your state of the art Bandit. I can handle the subtle digs, but its the indifference that really gets to me. HaHa Maintain, Geordie

Mine has the mist dispensor also, but i opt. for a larger container so there was no room left for the GPS. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

Geordie, I started to apologize for my indifference, but decided I just don't care.

Way to go, Higgins. Them Okies already have an image problem. You're not helping. How they manage to beat the tar out of Texas football teams is beyond me?
Good hunting. LB

Leonard, now thats almost rude. You had to go and bring up the 'T' word.
Edit to repeat this phrase; "... manage to beat the tar out of Texas football teams...."
