Agree, maybe we need some controversy?

BTW, only wimps use seventeen caliber rifles and your mom dresses you funny. [Smile]

Seriously, one thing we need is a discussion about dates for the campout, fast approaching.

Good hunting. LB

About the campout - I'm really looking forward to being there again this year. I can help Paul get things ready and do some scouting of the local area, if that helps. As to dates, I'm pretty flexible. Fred

THE MINI-14 IS THE PERFECT COYOTE RIFLE!!!! (Hows that???)

I'm gonna make that campout even if I have to quit my job & move to Arizona to do it.

I don't hardly see the computer lately except to write reports and that makes turning it on work. Leaving the house at 4 am most mornings, busy time of year and all. I been checking in and reading when possible. Andy, when are you headed this way? We had a load of rain. The grass is green and growing fast. If you don't get here soon you aren't going to be able to see a rabbit or prairie dog!

Leonard; I just tried to post in the Campout section down below & got the dreaded 'You do not have permission.....' message. ????

Question; When does fur in the Seligman area prime up enough to be sail-able??

I agree on the mini 14 they make great spacers for the gun safe to keep useful tools up front.
Actually Id like to see some proposed dates,I will be there no matter what comes up short of my demise.

OK, OK, I'm a wimp! Just took delivery of my second 17AH yesterday. But, that little 20gr. V-Max at nearly 3600 fps sure makes most PD's pretty sick. That's assuming I don't get stupid on the distances.

Hey Lenbo,

Didn't Vic save your bacon just a couple of years ago with a "Sub" caliber rifle? Only a piss poor shot would need anything .224 or larger!

Kokopelli,

You gotta quit smoking that wacky weed before the cops get to you. Take a look at the AZ laws, They throw you in jail here for possessing a peace pipe, but turn you loose for possessing anything under 600 pounds.

Oh man! Cheap shot, Tim. You saw that coyote, he was dead, but he just didn't know it. But, that's why I maintain, a 6MM just isn't enough gun!

But, he did make a circus shot, no question about it. I wonder if a BB gun would have tipped him over? He took a pretty good hit before he ran off. Them McNeal coyotes are tough critters.

Good hunting. LB

A BB gun ( 17 Remington ) in the hands of a capable shooter, tips them over on the first shot, every time.

The only exception is when taking a Texas heart shot. Which is perfectly understandable, as you always have to explain things at least twice to a Texan.

Was that rifle a 6mm Leonard? Christ, by the size of the holes you blew in the several coyotes I saw you execute....I was sure it was a 40mm grenade launcher:)
Circus shot.....what the hell does that mean?

No disrespect, Vic. It was a hell of a shot; is that better? But, you have to concede, the hole I drilled in that coyote, he should haven died right there. Just one of those things, when you have been around long enough, it still surprises me, now and then. Yeah, that was a head scratcher, for sure.

Good hunting. LB

You got that right Leonard, if only the "bang-floppers" could have seen that coyote, they would have shaken their heads in disbelief!
Some just run, no good explaination for it....they just do.
