Some other stupid bastard had to bring a gun to school and let out his frustration on innocent people. This time it was at a college (Virginia Tech) at that age their is no excuses. At least he put the gun on himself in the end so we don't have to pay for him. 21 killed and 28 injured! ![[Frown]](frown.gif)

This kind of thing just makes me sick....and angry! I don't care if the sorry bastard is dead or not, they should run his body through a meat grinder, and make his family pay their life savings in retribution. There has to be some way to stop this shit besides disarming normal people.
Oh boy, the Dems have an issue they love. Gun control

I think there will be a lot of fallout on this one, many questions still remain unanswered and details given in early reports will probably be changed. The death count is rumored to be much higher- injuries too- so who knows what we'll end up with.
Tragic either way!

While the demos are trying to take away our guns they should take away our fast cars and alcohol. Approx. 140 people die in the US every day due to drunk drivers and speed. [ April 17, 2007, 09:05 AM: Message edited by: Barndog ]

It's the same old story.
The University of Washington wants to make theirs a gun free campus. What a warm fuzzy feeling! I'm sure the students feel safe, knowing that the school has a policy that bans guns on campus.
But, what if those students at Virginia Tech were not sheep for slaughter? What if several of them were armed and could defend themselves? This ******* chained the doors from the inside. He knew it would be like shooting fish in a barrel. The rotten son of a bitch. And, turns out he's a foreigner, from South Korea.
I'm sure a fair number of soft headed idiots will campaign for stronger gun laws; you know? Disarm the populous, take away their right of self defense. Call 911, right? Perfect.
Good hunting. LB

It is always the gun that gets the blame.

From CNN
quote: Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine said he wasn't interested in arguments about gun control.
"People who want to take this within 24 hours of the event and make it their political hobby horse to ride, I've got nothing but loathing for them," Kaine said at a Tuesday evening news conference.
"To those who want to try to make this into some little crusade, I say: Take that elsewhere. Let this community deal with grieving individuals and be sensitive to those needs."

Yeah! Balls like a brass monkey, good for him.
I did hear Geraldo say something a minute ago on O`rielly that shocked me, he said something to the effect of..... "I can`t help but wonder if someone in that room had been carrying a gun if this could have been avoided"

We have taught the people in this great country to act like a large flock of sheep. For as long as I can remember, those in leadership positions have been telling everyone to never try to fight a criminal who has a gun. "Just do whatever he tells you". This helpless sheep attitude has caused a lot of people to die over the years. Just to think how easily that crowd of college kids could have overcome the shooter before he killed more than two or three people. It makes me sick to my stomach.

I could be wrong but from what I have seen the talk about gun control has been spurred from questions from the MEDIA! They are the ones beating the drum right now not leadership. So yes I do agree with the Governor and the media got slammed and didn’t even know it. LOL
I did hear a comment this morning that said something to the effect that the Brady bunch was critical of those showing remorse but would do nothing (will not ban guns) to prevent it in the future.
I wonder what they would think if the house and senate passed a tax credit for those who get CC permits and carry on a daily basis?

In no way is this post meant with anything other than the highest of regard and sympathy for the victims and the families of those murdered at Virginia Tech.
I'm posting this solely out of disdain for those liberal media freaks who would try to use this great tragedy for their twisted political gain.

Tim, those stupid bastards don't get it.
Innocent people obey laws, killers are cowards and don't obey laws, rules or policies. What a joke!
That handgun policy on campus really helped, didn't it?

If my son or daughter were among the 32 unarmed victims I would have an attorney right now. Suing the administration that denied the students and faculty the protection and security that the state saw fit to provide by means of CCW may expose that policy as an irresponsible act of ignorance and/or cowardice. I hope the parents of the victims feel the same way. edit for clarity [ April 20, 2007, 05:47 AM: Message edited by: Rich Higgins ]

Rich Higgins is correct. Not only did the school take away the victims's right to defend themselves, they also ignored repeated written warnings from the killer himself. I hope that relatives of the victims sue the heck out of that college.
