Lightning knocked out the power for Tombstone about 2:30 this morning.
They had me start at 5:30 to do some switching, only to have the work that I did the switching for, canceled due to rain.
We didn't get any lightning down In Douglas all day, but it's starting to fire up now. I'm expecting to get called back in to work any time now.

I understand that the rain in Arizona is about 25 percent moisture?

Just for you Leonard. Rain in the desert
Rich, rain here is like CB; there is alot of air between the drops. if you are skinny enough and move fast enough... you won't get wet from the 20% moisture...
Tim, be careful... i know it is your trade, but dealing with electricity in the electrical storms is still risky... [ March 22, 2007, 07:04 PM: Message edited by: Norm ]

The only thing more awesome than a thunderstorm in the desert is a thunderstorm up on the North Rim. Honorable mention going to the Warner Lake Loop out of Moab during a storm.
