rooster32,those are some beautifull, adult birds.I seen the merrians in the wild, one time.I seen them in the wildcat hills, below scotts bluff,in Nebraska.Hopefully next year,i will get to hunt the merrians, along the Montana/South Dakota, border.

Good luck to you,TRnCO.If you get one with a bow, show us some pictures.

Let's see if this pic. works. This isn't a very good pic. to show him off. He had 3 beards and as you can see, he qualified as a limbhanger!

The early KS archery only season this year should be good, since the birds haven't been hunted at all before then. This is the 1st year KS. has done this.

TRnCO,

I'll be in KS on the 9th of April hunting around miniapolis and Concordia. I start the trip out in Jackson Miss, then to West Monroe LA, then to Ks. and then to stirgis SD, then to home and 4 weeks of hunting for two birds here. I may even get to Washington for a bird. I'll post pic's when I get home.... Good hunting boys and I'll see ya in the fall if I see ya at all.

Thanks rooster, don't no what I did wrong with that one, so I'll ask, what did I do wrong that the pic. didn't show for me?

Sly, I'll be about 35 miles N.E. of Minneapolis, or straight east of the Hwy. 24 Hwy. 81 junction from the 30th of March to the 4th of April and then I'll be back again early May. Lots of birds in that area!

You get up here and I'll take you out. Bring a kid along from the youth program. We'll have a good time.

Here is last spring's take. I only shot one, but called in the rest.
