I just paid $152.75 for a nonres. small game license! It was not too many years ago where it cost $41 and then it was $80? and most recently, $113.50.
WTF, do they expect Californians to balance their budget or what? I'm pissed.
They are going to wind up with less money because a lot of people are going to tell them to shove it.

Yeah, it sucks. I bought one online before the Rondy, then didnt get to go, that double sucks.
Luckily, I seem to make it out there enough to make it worthwile during the year.

Not long ago some sumbitch in New Mexico sue'd AZF&G over the way the out of state big game draw was run and they won the suit. SO, now if you don't live here, you will pay for the privilege of hunting in our state. And maybe, less is better.

That's why I don't call coyotes in Arizona.I would love to go down and call some coyotes,almost went down to Williams to the World hunt(but would have ended up back in Nevada hunting).But I ain't paying that much money for coyotes,When I can kill plenty in Nevada,Utah and Wyoming for nothing.That's pure B.S almost as bad as not letting nonresidents kill Bobcats in Nevada.Good Hunting Chad

Way to go Dan. I feel that the land and resources are for everyone to share. I feel that anyone who holds a negative attitute towards others hunting in their state might as well be an anti in my eyes. I just felt the pinch of the increase from AZ G&F. It sucks, but I love spending time in AZ. As long as people come to CA with respect for the land and people, I don't care who comes here. I'm happy to share the love of land and hunting.

License fees are getting out of hand everywhere.
As a resident of one state who is a family member of landholders (excellent hunting of all types)in a different state I really take a pounding.
Missouri finally did me in by raising NR deer tags over $200 and requiring a "furbearers license" ($80?) for NR's to shoot coyotes.
To a great degree, I blame it on the stupidity displayed over whitetailed deer.

Joe, I dont believe MO is quite that high. $145 for a non resident deer, $25 extra if you live in IA, IL, OK, KS, I think thats it. The extra, if I remember correctly is directly related to these states deciding to not be recipricol with MO on prices.
Either way, it has gone up a bit. But, you can still get all the doe tags you want for $7 each!

Yeah, I think you're right, Andy. Early morning memory not being so good. Either that, or they were getting me back for that damned otter I ran over in about 1984 or 5....
Now that you mention it, I think I hung it up when all of the nephews were well started and the tag had hit the $110 mark.
