This is a pic that was sent to a buddy of mine of a steer that survived the recent blizzard in Greeley COunty Kansas. Pretty easy to see how the most cattle that died from the storm itself died as a result of their nostrils being impacted with snow. Absolutely amazing.

Sheesh. That's incredible. I live in Loveland, about 20 minutes west of Greeley, and we're still digging out the side streets. That storm was fearsome. Screwed up calling too, though that's the least of our worries.

Incredible pic. reminds me of a bull I saw once, down along the border. The difference was, that animal's front half was almost completely covered with cholla cactus and "grapes". He ouldn't even see us, as we drove up next to him. He was very docile, I really felt sorry for him. Notified Tribal Police as to his location.
