It started snowing here this morning. We have 17 inches here in Englewood. I think NASA, in Boulder, has 20 inches already as of 9:45 this evening. Snow is supposed to accumalate at 1-2 inches per hour until tomorrow morning.
I gave all the boys the day off today and looks like tomorrow I'll have no other choice.
I'll post pictures in the morning. Stay warm and dry all! Welcome back Jack! ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

Yeah. I'm lucky to be home. My flight, booked from Toronto to Denver was cancelled.
Good hunting. LB

I've been watching that Loco. Been feeling for the mail carriers there in your area. Mail is suspended and yesterday was the biggest volume delivery day of the year. I cannot imagine the trainwreck and mountains of mail they have waiting for them at their posts. All we got was rain for the first time in two months.
Give those boys a day off and show them the power switch on a snow shovel. LOL They could probably make a small fortune today just in the hood.

Could get interesting, my wife is in Nashville recording some songs. She is supposed to fly back into Denver tommorrow and drive home from there. Not sure if that is going to happen, or if she will even make it home for Christmas the way the flights are backed up. Might just be me and the kids for Christmas dinner. Spam and Macaroni and Cheese! My specialty!

We have probably 4-6 inches of snow on the ground in areas as of this morning. Yesterday Nick and I made it out to do some calling between storms. We had 3-4 inches on the ground yesterday with light winds and periods of light snow all day that made for some great calling. Before the snow we got around an 1 inch of rain so are very pleased to see the moisture but its beginning to blow around now.

There's a few drifts here at the house, but the winds are dieing down. I can't get to work because the highways are all closed. Nothing to do but go hunting I guess.

the winds really made this storm a BAD one, huh! It was only the 8th worst in Denver history! Wish I still had my snowmobile! I'll bet there are some hungry coyotes to be called, just can't get out to them!
