And to you too, Loco. We recently titled this photo:Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reinyote and Santa. Derek will use it to adorn some of his family Christmas cards this year. Naturally, they'll go to a very select group.

It may be a little late for that Tripp, besides which - it's probably my fault. He reminded me the other day that I was the one who taught him to bonk foxes between the eyes with a trowel handle, then collapse their lungs with his knee so as not to bloody the fur while removing them from his traps when he was 10 years old. "Is it any wonder I'm messed up?" he asked.
When he was 8 years-old, I returned from an elk hunting trip with his older brother to find he had whacked a couple of mice in the chicken coop with his BB gun, nailed their heads to a piece of cedar shingle and hung them on the wall over his bed (his idea of a mounted "trophy").
His mother wasn't at all happy about the blood trickling down the wall, but his brother and I knew he was simply demonstrating a genetic predispostion for the hunt. ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

Hmmm? So, is there a cure? A therapy? Are we doomed? Nobody cares? I know, for a fact, it's worse than AIDS, yet there is no Government funding? Katrena gets it all. Okay, I understand.

Hunting, like trapping, fishing and the other blood sports, is an infectious disease for which, thankfully, there is no known cure.
Some are born to it (genetic predisposition); some contract it by associating with those already afflicted. Others may come to it later in life for reasons no one can explain.
Once infected however, any chance of recovery to a "normal" existance is pretty much hopeless. Coyote hunting is one of the worst forms imaginable, and therefore quite possibly the most fun. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

heh heh. I got a million of 'em. My kids (they're in their 30s now) were a riot growing up.
The beauty of it all is that I used to take them hunting and fishing, and now they take me - literally. They plan a lot of the hunts, do the driving, drag my deer out for me - damn! It's just great. They buy me rifles and shotguns, outdoor gear, etc. But the best part is they include me in everything....Don't know what I'd do without them.

One thing is for sure, though. That picture will be the main feature in a lot of google using treehuggers' nightmares for some time. LOL
