What's the process by which you fellas add photos to a post on this site. I read the instructions for adding photos with a url, but what do I do if I just want to insert a photo from a personal file folder?

Can't be done. First you have to get the photo onto a web server somewhere, so that it can be given a url.

Dsmith,
Most of the folks on here use photobucket I believe. I used it a couple years ago but have long since forgotten how.
Go look up the address on google. It's not too tough to figure out. [ November 30, 2006, 05:36 PM: Message edited by: The Outdoor Tripp ]

Dennis,
Go to http://photobucket.com/
Click on Register Now and enter a user name and password (twice)
This program will walk you thru the process of downloading yuour pics. Very easy to do.
once downloaded, you'll have to adjust it for size so it isn't too big, then you'll have several opions beneath each pic, the bottom one being "". Right click on that one and left click on Copy, then return to Huntmasters or wherever and hold your arrow over the cursor and right click, then left click Paste. It should cut and paste the "[IMG]..." line there form you and when you hit submit, it will show up.

Thanks Lance,
Any idea what an appropriate size is for viewing on the Hntmasters site? I'm not up to speed on how image size translates to screen size.
Thanks again for your help.

As a general rule of thumb, if you resize your pictures to no more than 640 Pixels in width, nearly everyone can see them on their computer and not have to scroll back and forth.
