And don't bother driving down to Kansas Settlement. Vic and I killed them all last weekend!

I guess you aren't going to believe me any more than Uncle Jay did.
You want to meet in the middle?
The gates are only locked on the North end, That's another example of a dickhead Rancher selling access to public land.

Huh?
You want to meet in the middle? Middle of what?

You mean there is only one ranch at Kansas Settlement?

Your Access takes you to the Abandoned orchard on the south end, my State land takes me to an abandoned orchard with open gates on the North end.
If there are two abandoned orchards there, I apologize.
That place is a hell of a good site for Javalina, unfortunately, I drew for 30B this year.

Rich,
The phone call was a nice touch, but I told Joyce you are just trying to put her mind at ease, and that the next time she ran the heater in her car, not to be surprised if a defanged rattlesnake came out of hibernation under one of the seats.
Even Leonard won't let me print the words that she's calling you tonight! [ November 02, 2006, 08:09 PM: Message edited by: Tim Behle ]

Tim, the defanged part was a nice touch, but I would never do that to a snake.

Thanks, Tim. I truly appreciate your help. You know of course that I was going to hunt that area in the World hunt in a couple of weeks. No more clues about what we did to your jeep for you.

It looks like this area is going to suck again this year, I went out Saturday morning and didn't see a single coyote.
But you might try over by ******** , I hear the calling is great over there. You can expect 2-3 coyotes per stand.
Edit:
See how good it is? I got asterisks again.
Take Hwy 24 west of 86 to hwy 21, then go North back to 86.
Lots of great calling in there! [ November 06, 2006, 04:36 PM: Message edited by: Tim Behle ]
