I understand there is a predator museum somewhere along the way. Can anyone tell me where it is and should I stop by. Geordie and I will probably need to stretch our legs around about that time.

It's in Carrizozo, NM. But I can't remember the name of the hotel.
Danny Batistini, who runs the museum, will be at the campout. You might be better off hitting him up for directions and stopping on the way home.
Or ask NASA, I think he's going to be picking up Danny on the way in, and I know he's be there before.

I guess you might be talking about Danny's museum? He's in Carrizozo, NM, which might be on your way, but he's going to be at the campout, so maybe you could even catch it on the way home?
Good hunting. LB

Randy, it's up in the middle of NM. Maybe an hours detour to the north of I-10.
Hey, you gonna' show up in a pirogue or a pickup? I hear you been gettin' a good drizzle down there.

I looked it up on mapquest and it says 164 miles north of ElPaso. CrossJ and I can decide during the trip. not sure we want to add another 4-5 hours by the time we get there. Gonna be 17 hours and we are driving straight through.
Yeah we have been getting a good rain. slow and penetrating well. It has been really dry here this year. The fish have ticks on them. i am gonna leave the pirogue home for the wife to get to work.
I plan to pull out of here around 5-6 tomorrow night. should land in there after noon Wednesday. Looking forward to meeting the PAK [ October 16, 2006, 07:06 PM: Message edited by: RagnCajn ]

Hey onecoyote, didn't you post several pictures of the museum some time back?
Maybe you could re-post them or show us a few new ones here to give people a peek at what you've got going.
