Bill , you said in your bio that coyote dogs were what grabbed you and dragged you into the calling game.
Because I have enjoyed our conversations and developed a fondness for you, I will share some little known info with you.
I have some dogs that occassionally call coyotes with me and I've taped some interesting and entertaining video with them.
Now before you spend time and money training a decoy dog, I must tell you that to the avant garde caller, poised on the cutting edge of predator fashion, dogs are soooo last year.

The en vogue callers are now using coyote cows.
Here is a pic of me calling with Daisy, Bossy, and Gertrude.

Training is not complete, it's hard to make them sit still in the back seat of the Bronco and when they catch a coyote they are pretty hard on the hides, but rather than have you waste your money on one of Cal's cur pups I can sell you a coyote calf for only a little more. Interested?

Rich Higgins,
Now THAT is some good information right there. Coyote cows work real well in Iowa, nebraska, texas and I now hear they are working quite well in Arizona also. Coyote SHEEP work better in Wyoming though.

Rich, I cain't believe you would post something like this. Just when I think I've got something good going you tell me I'm old news.

Who was your straight man before I got here?

You have opened yourself up for some of those vicious rumors that have been circulating like those about the Wyoming sheep.

And now I Guess some of the pros will be looking over their shades saying they have been using decoy cows for years.

I can tell you have been working with these cows, Bossy had that certain gleam in her eye.

Forget Bossy. Check out the contented flushed look on Daisy's face.

Bill, does this mean you're not interested in buying a calf from me?
I Guess I'll have to Shade my bet and offer them to the pros at PM. Do not Rag at me if they snatch it up.

Tripp, I think you are right about Daisy. Its hard not to recognize that look. I haven't seen that look around my house in a while though.

Rich, You gave me some good advise about not using Doctors used latex gloves for my bands on my howler. I kinda feel the same way about a used calf.
Bill
