They caught him! He is looking at anywhere from 6-12 years on up to 10-20 years plus restitution. It was my grandaughters babysitter's boyfriend. He admitted to burglarizing the house but he said he didn't take the jewelry... soooooo what... did he break in, take the rest of the stuff and leave it open for the next thug to come in and take the jewelry??!!?? sure... right And... my insurance company is going after him for restitution for the money they gave me on my claim and I'm going for the rest of the money that the insurance didn't cover. Don't know if I will ever see a penny... but I'm going after all I can!

Soooo... while he knew that I would be out of town and his girlfriend would be babysitting my granddaughter because my daughter would be working until 3 a.m.... he helped himself.

Anyway... the arraingnement is on Tuesday August 15th. I'll let ya'll know what happened. He's setting in jail on $30,000 bail right now.

Ditto the above,..........and you may want to find a new babysitter.

Thanks Guys... I had to laugh a little yesterday. The one insurance guy said to me after I told him that he was setting in jail on bail... "Well, maybe he should have invested some of the money he stole from you so that he could have made his bail!" We laughed [Big Grin]

His Pot, eh?? I'll see what I can do [Cool]

No need to find a differant babysitter Koko, my girls moved to Texas this past May... sigh

Definately a piece of mind going on here... smiles I had to battle a few of the old emotions rushing to the surface for awhile... but it's all good now!

I'll let ya'll know tuesday evening.

Maybe while he's setting he will meet a nice burley lover...

named Earl [Big Grin]

he plea bargained. Sentencing won't be for a short while. But he's looking at 7-14 months on a charge that he was on the run for (another house burglary) and 2-5 years on mine. I have to fill out an impact statement to the judge. Depending how much impact I can put in it... the time could increase. He made me sick... I wanted nothing more but to have 5 minutes with him in shackles in a closed room.

And then, when it was all done and accepted, the b*stard danced his way out of the magistrates office in his shackles. I was really hoping he would trip and fall... but he didn't.

He's going to the state pen for this one, no county lock-up. I'm still rooting for the burley lover named Earl!

Crow, its too bad hes not serving his time in MO. I got alot of folks that owe me favors from over the years in practically every pen in the state.

It wouldnt be the first time I got one of those guys to see to it that someone spent their time in marital bliss that pissed me off.... [Wink]

Sheri. You know he has a free guided swamp tour with me when he gets out. I think you remember what the Gator count was like.

Maybe he would prefer a night in the little wire cabin at the Hog pasture.

awww Varmit and Andy... I sure got me some great friends [Wink]

Thank You!

There is a lesson in all of this for me that is really hard. I've always practiced the good medicine, now I have to really focus on staying out of the bad medicine and letting karma work on its own. Soooo tempting... but not good.
