Yeah, I'm sure that my personal problems have put a damper on all the talk. Wish it wasn't so, this place is a service I provide for all f you guys, but for anything you want to talk about, no rules, like Outback.
What they may not realize is that the Board takes my mind off of my problems, I'm glad it's available, it seems to help a lot. But, you are correct, Andy. There isn't enough. If nobody wants to use the Board for what it was intended, maybe I just need to shut it down? I sure don't want that. I hope the traffic will recover, we need input, we need conversation, stimulation, whatever.
You guys hear that? Yak it up, don't let a good thing die; Nanc wouldn't want that, either. LB

Dont shut 'er down LB... Im sure the masses will be back.
Just kinda weird to go that long without a post. I have been busy for a few days, mostly anyway, just checkin in once in a while.
Could be the spring thing. Im sure Im not the only one not just busy with work, but with family things. Try to get some outdoor stuff done before it gets too hot.

Leonard,
Please keep the site going, it is as good as they get.
I'm sure that there are a lot of people out there who are like me, when they're not coyote hunting our minds achieve a different focus. Blondes, crappy, trout, trucks, spending money, etc... I still stick my head in here a couple of times a day.
Maybe I ought to post the coyote turd in tehh dog bowl under that other topic, that ought to be good for a comment or two.

Andy,
Vic is a changed man. I've got a dollar that says you can't piss him off by saying anything.
Leonard,
You ever eat at Outback? We went there for the first and last time a month or so ago.
Those people wouldn't know what a good prime rib was if you slapped them in the face with one. That was the worse overpriced meal I've had in a long, long time.
And Joe, Why didn't you mention brunettes with big hooters? I'm not supposed to look at blondes. [ May 23, 2006, 05:21 PM: Message edited by: Tim Behle ]

Tim, Tim, Tim. I happen to like the Outback's around here. I find myself sitting at the bar eating a 16 oz prime rib at least once a week... salads are great too! Maybe it's those cactus cattle they are cooking out there for you guys? Next time you are in town I'll buy you one here... the girls on 86th street treat me like NORM from Cheers nowadays.
Like Dennis, I have also been extremely busy with work. 14-16 hour days aren't uncommon and my concentration and focus is pretty well chewed up on those dang plan sets when I'm on the computer. Hopefully I'll find more time this fall when I take my office mobile and get in the woods some more... I may become an online resident next summer if I take the job in Columbia. Without anyone to speak english to and no animals to shoot I'll be like a fish out of water... gotta think about retirement though, I'm counting off the days already!
Don't stress the low traffic Leonard... all the hunting boards are seeing it right now. Moreso than years past even--- perhaps pain at the pump has evolved into carpal tunnel? [ May 23, 2006, 06:18 PM: Message edited by: Jrbhunter ]

Tim, I gotta agree with you on the Outback. I had to work out of town a few months back and it was late and I was hungry. I swung into the nearest joint which happened to be an Outback. I ordered up the most expensive prime rib on the menu since the company was paying for it. I was damn glad I didn't pay for that chunk of meat with my own money. The place was crowded, I had to sit at the bar because all the tables were full. Heck, there was even a line going outside by the time I left. The highlight of the meal was the two hotties that sat next to me at the bar.

Me... I've just been flying low under any radar there is out there. My house is almost cleaned out, the real estate agents have been busy showing it with no offers yet, but some strong interest. Let me see, just getting over pneumonia. And my girls wanted a fresh start in life and they are on the road somewhere heading to Texas at this very moment. Didn't know it would pack such a big punch to the ole heart strings. But it did...

Hope everyone is well and enjoying the spring weather. The corn here is starting to come up and the beans will follow shortly, and then all around it well be green again. Leonard if you want some excitement i could mention the dirty word and that well wake everyone up. (17 Rem) Never been to the outback, I'm a red-lobster kinda guy, good food. All take care.....

Tim, I'll never use the "B" word and reveal my greatest weakness.
No blondes, b,b, br, br, bru , bruuuu, brunettes, all the way... I'll never mention hooter size, for fear of breaking something....
Did I mention that I am weak???

I would say "I'll be here" but I won't be. I have a 5:30AM flight to Eastern Canada tomorrow and will be cruising the St. Lawrence Seaway till June 02.
But I will be back the 2nd, unless the boat or a plane breaks down.

Andy,
Pretty close. The boat fare is not too bad, it is the air fare and the hotels before and after that are the expensive parts.

Comment on Outback Steak House:
I still keep in touch with an Aussie (non-blonde) ex-girlfriend. She luaghs everytime she sees one - nothing Australian about it all, in her opinion. That and Foster's beer, evidently not a real favorite in her country.

Geesh I haven't been around here for a half of year or so because of computer crashes and other problems. Glad to see things are still kicking.
Leonard, I'm sorry about what is happening in your personal life of which I'm obviously not aware of. But beings that you only a year older and we grew up in he same area I think I understand. I got a ton of my own crashing down as we speak. Just thought I'd check in!

John, it's all here, down at the bottom, if you have a couple hours.
I don't know why I use that expression, "No rules" but it sure as hell isn't because I like that rip off, overpriced joint. If I have a choice, I'll never set foot in an "Outback Steak House" again.
Now, I don't care who you are, and it's more expensive than Outback, (but not by much); but a steak at Ruth's Chris Steak House is damned good eating. And the service? No comparison.
Good hunting. LB
