Okay, so this post has nothing to do with predator hunting or coyote calling. But since coyotes eat fawns and fawns come from deer and deer are hunted during football season... I figured what the hell.

What did you all think about the NFL draft this year? Who is your team and did they make good picks, great picks, or prove they truly do have their heads up their asses?

My team was able to pick up a QB at 10. I think they did well in the overall draft.

Yup. Arizona got Leinart for a steal at #10. They picked up another player or two that should help out as well. Along with Edgerrin, maybe they won't suck next year.

But don't hold your breath.

Arizona right now has the best set of up and coming recievers in the league, by a long shot. It will be nice to see someome able to get the ball to them. I think a good QB is the main thing this team has been lacking for quite some time.

My team (San Diego) burned up their draft fun over the last two years with that Eli Manning trade, so I paid no attention this year. Things are still looking up though...I'm assuming

well let's see the cardinals, although they had a bad record, had the most passing yards in the league last year. Fitzgerald and boldin are great receivers and they did have the Thumb Kurt Warner throwing to them.
My team is the Lions. they did okay. they have a new coach, Rod Marinelli, who is defensive minded coming from the Bucs. so they went defense, defense, o-line and RB.
they drafted okay but i wish they had not passed on Jay Cutler or even Leinart. they, in my opinion, will be the look back and laugh guy's. like when we passed on Clinton Portis to take Kalimbe Edwards. Heads in asses possibly. it's not above them believe me.

I don't touch the stuff. Would rather be out working the dogs or hunting coyotes.
